This study is intended to calculate the core body temperature in patients who are having a Cesarean Section (C/S) and are kept warm with an Upper Body Forced Air Warming device (Bair Hugger) or underbody forced air warmer. These warming devices are approved and are a required item in many if not all surgical procedures. They are used daily throughout the hospital. The research question is: Where is the best place to position the warming blanket in pregnant mothers undergoing Cesarean section delivery. The researchers hope to compare post - operative core body temperatures in patients getting an Upper Body forced air device versus those getting an Underbody Body forced air warming device. One in three women of reproductive age utilize tubal sterilization for contraception, and sterilization is often requested at time of cesarean delivery. Complete salpingectomy for the purpose of permanent sterilization at the time of cesarean birth is increasingly being performed worldwide. A preferred complete salpingectomy technique for the purpose of sterilization at the time of cesarean delivery has not emerged in current practice. The objective is to compare short-term clinical outcomes and cost of salpingectomy using a hand-held bipolar energy instrument with those of traditional suture ligation. This retrospective cohort study will be conducted from 2017-2023 at a single tertiary care hospital. This study is trying to find out whether performing a hybrid aerobic-resistance exercise training program (titled PRIME: Peripheral Remodeling via Intermittent Muscular Exercise) results in better health outcomes than the traditional exercise training program (called COMBO) that is used in individuals with heart failure with reduced ejection fraction (HFrEF). The proposed project addresses the goal of exploring preschooler's ability to recognize changes in feelings of hunger/satiety based on consuming a snack and a meal (lunch/dinner) that are either based on the usual childcare center fare (control) or are based on lean meats (intervention), which will have a lower glycemic index. The goal of this study is to obtain user feedback while placing and observing the DAISY uterine drain with wall suction. This study defines the obstetrical surgeons as "users" and the patients in whom the drain is placed as "participants." Participants are pregnant women who are undergoing cesarean delivery (CD) or D \& C, who have not entered active labor, who have consented to drain placement and who have met all the inclusion/exclusion criteria. Metformin is the most prescribed blood sugar (glucose)-lowering medication for patients diagnosed with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). Metformin stimulates glucose uptake in skeletal muscle similar to the effects of exercise, though, some studies report that metformin may decrease exercise capacity. The main question this study looks to answer is: • Does metformin alter exercise capacity? Participants will: * Complete 5 exercise tests on a stationary bike. * Undergo a body composition test. * Take metformin and placebo. * Complete food and symptom logs. The FARE Patient Registry will serve as a prospective, observational food allergy reporting system that stores detailed health and other basic information about patients' real-world experiences with food allergies, to encourage open sharing of de-identified data and participation in clinical trials. This study is a randomized controlled trial (RCT). This RCT which will study the effect of performing daily activities early after a distal radius fracture being treated conservatively in a cast. This study will have two groups. The experimental group will watch a video and be given a handout on how to perform daily activities with the hand of the injured wrist while in a cast and cast care. The control group will watch a video on cast care and be given a handout on cast care. Outcome measures will be taken at initial evaluation between 0-3 weeks, at 6 weeks, at 9 weeks, and at 3 months. Outcome measures will include the Michigan Wrist Evaluation, Visual Analog Pain Scale, Tampa Scale of Kinesiophobia-11 Scale, finger mobility testing, grip and pinch strength, and the 9 hole peg test to test fine motor coordination. Alcohol use and misuse are prevalent in the United States. Alcohol use disorder (AUD) is the most common substance use disorder. Evidence-based treatments are effective; however, most people with AUD do not receive treatment, and among those who do, responses to treatment modalities vary.
