Knee injuries, especially those to the ACL, are common among physically active people. Preventing these injuries from happening is critical to limiting the long-term pain, disability, and arthritis associated with these injuries. Our study is going to examine new ways to provide feedback about the way people move to determine if these are better at modifying movement patterns to prevent injury than current standard treatments. If you participate, you will be asked to undergo a movement analysis in a research laboratory while you perform tasks such as landing from a box and running and cutting. After this initial assessment, you will be randomly allocated to one of 3 treatment groups. Each treatment group will perform 4 weeks (3x/week) of exercises to change the way people land from a jump. This study investigates the neural mechanisms causally involved in how people navigate through their immediately visible environment (e.g., walking around one's bedroom flawlessly and effortlessly, not bumping into the walls or furniture). To investigate whether particular neural mechanisms are causally involved in "visually-guided navigation", repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) is used to temporarily disrupt the functioning of particular brain regions in healthy adults while they are shown simple visual stimuli of places (e.g., bedrooms, kitchens, and living rooms) and asked to perform simple computer tasks or to complete simple behavioral tasks. The investigators recently observed that up to 25% of women with X-linked adrenoleukodystrophy (ALD) have moderate to severe Restless Leg Syndrome (RLS). In this study, the investigators aim to estimate the prevalence of RLS among women with ALD and to assess whether pramipexole improves RLS symptoms as well as sleep and gait measures in women with ALD. The evaluation of the foregut, the esophagus and stomach, has come a long way over the past two decades, and continues to experience exciting discoveries in the clinical evaluation of foregut physiology. Assessing esophageal peristalsis has relied for the past several decades on High Resolution Manometry (HRM), however it has recently become known that even though HRM is an extremely effective tool, that there are certain subsets of patients in which additional information is required. Additionally, the assessment of esophageal reflux disease has relied on pH impedance for the last two decades. However, this procedure requires a catheter to be passed through a nostril and remain in place for at least 24 hours. Novel techniques, already FDA approved, including EndoFLIP for esophageal peristalsis and mucosal integrity (MI) for reflux disease, have emerged as time-of-endoscopy assessments. Both involve the placement of a balloon through the scope at time of upper endoscopy (standard first line assessment for both dysphagia and reflux symptoms) and are quick and pose little-to-no additional risk or discomfort for patients. However, data regarding normal esophageal parameters are poorly defined for both EndoFLIP and MI. Additionally, EndoFLIP has increasingly been used to assess the pylorus, and scarce data exists there regarding how a tool originally envisioned for esophageal assessment can be used more distally in the GI tract. We will recruit healthy, asymptomatic volunteers to undergo testing with MI and FLIP (esophageal and pyloric). Our study aims to determine whether intermittent fasting (IMF) is a valid method to improve psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis (PsA) disease severity and quality of life. Patients within OSU Dermatology with psoriasis and/or psoriatic arthritis will be enrolled in a dietary intervention for a 24-week period. A prospective, single-blind parallel group randomized control trial will include an IMF dietary intervention group and a standard routine diet group for a duration of 24 weeks. After the initial 12 weeks of the dietary intervention, patients will be followed for an additional 12 weeks to assess changes in their disease state and quality of life after returning to their initial dietary routines. In total, the study will be 24 weeks. Baseline assessment will consist of standard psoriasis and PsA clinical parameters; evaluation will be performed by a blinded physician. These parameters will be reassessed every 4 weeks via video visit for the three month duration of the study, and then again at the 24-week conclusion of the study. In addition, each visit will assess patient-reported outcomes using dermatology-specific quality of life indices. Biometric measurements of weight, height, BMI, and waist-to-hip ratio will be recorded at baseline and all subsequent visits. Dietary adherence will be assessed by virtual check-in visits, and dietary guidance will be provided and reviewed at each visit by the research coordinator. A physician or the research coordinator will be available for questions between times of data collection. The primary outcome measure will be feasibility of a larger study, which will be determined at the initial 12-week timepoint. This data is vital to determine effect size and dropout frequency for future studies. Secondary outcomes will include changes in clinical indices, biometric measurements, and quality of life indices at 12 weeks after randomization and at the end of the 24-week study. Achievement of a 5% weight reduction at 12 weeks, and a 10-15% weight reduction at 24 weeks will be additional secondary endpoints. The goal of this study is to learn more about how the time in which participants consume their meals relative to their personalized circadian rhythm influences their overall cardiometabolic health and weight. The investigators are hoping to discover if a circadian-based time restricted eating intervention will improve cardiometabolic health and decrease weight.
