The aim of this project is to test the accuracy of pulse oximeters during mild, moderate and severe hypoxia. This is done by comparing the reading of the pulse oximeter during brief, steady state hypoxia with a gold-standard measurement of blood oxygen. The primary objective of radiation therapy is to deliver a therapeutic dose of radiation precisely to the target while minimizing exposure to healthy surrounding tissues. Image-guided radiation therapy (IGRT) involves acquiring cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) scans just before or during treatment sessions. By comparing the CBCT images with the reference images from the treatment planning process, clinicians can make necessary adjustments to ensure precise targeting and account for any changes that may have occurred since the initial planning. Conventional CBCT technology is, however, limited by several factors including long acquisition times that result in motion artifacts in the image, smaller fields of view that limit the volume of anatomy that can be imaged, poor image quality that limits soft tissue visibility, and artifacts created by dense metal implants. This study will evaluate a novel CBCT imaging solution ("HyperSight") that has the potential to address the challenges of conventional CBCT. Read Less

This study is interested in whether baseline measures of pain sensitivity i.e. the amount of pressure required to feel pain predicts pain relief following a pain inducing massage AND whether pain relief following a pain inducing massage is different than a pain free massage or placing your hand in a cold water bath. Participants with neck pain will be randomly assigned to receive a pain inducing massage, pain free massage, or to place their hand in a cold water bath. Read Less

This phase II trial tests the safety and effectiveness of glofitamab given in combination with pirtobrutinib in treating patients with mantle cell lymphoma that has come back after a period of improvement (relapsed) or that has not responded to previous treatment (refractory). Glofitamab and obinutuzumab are monoclonal antibodies that may interfere with the ability of cancer cells to grow and spread. Obinutuzumab may also reduce the risk of immune-related conditions from treatment. Pirtobrutinib is in a class of medications called kinase inhibitors. It works by blocking the action of the protein that signals cancer cells to multiply. Giving glofitamab in combination with pirtobrutinib may be safe, tolerable and/or effective in treating patients with relapsed or refractory mantle cell lymphoma. Read Less

The purpose of this study is to investigate the responses of the brain region known as the subgenual anterior cingulate cortex (sgACC) during transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) in individuals with depression. Specifically, investigators aim to determine whether the sgACC is engaged when TMS is delivered to specific targets and if the engagement of sgACC changes throughout a full TMS treatment intervention. To achieve this goal, the investigators will employ a combination of TMS and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) procedures. Study participation will include completing various questionnaires, clinical assessments, receiving a full transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) treatment intervention (every weekday for 6 weeks), and undergoing MRI scans, both with and without concurrent TMS. Individuals with an above-knee lower limb amputation are known to walk more slowly, expend more energy, have a greater risk of falling, and have reduced quality of life compared to individuals without amputation and those with below knee amputation. One of the driving factors behind these deficits is the lack of active function provided by above-knee prostheses with prosthetic knees and ankles. While many prosthetic devices have been developed for functional restoration after major lower extremity amputation, there remains no stable interface to facilitate reliable, long-term volitional control of an advanced robotic limb capable moving multiple joints. Moreover, there is no existing interface that provides useful sensory feedback that in turn enhances the functional capabilities of the prosthesis. To achieve both greater signal specificity and long-term signal stability, we have developed a biologic interface known as the Regenerative Peripheral Nerve Interface (RPNI). An RPNI consists of a peripheral nerve that is implanted into a free muscle graft that would otherwise go unused in the residual limb. As the nerve grows, it reinnervates the free muscle graft which undergoes a predictable sequence of revascularization and regeneration. The main questions it aims to answer are: 1. Can the amplitude, movement specificity and stability of sciatic nerve RPNI electromyography (EMG) signals be detected up to one year post RPNI surgery? 2. Do RPNIs contain information to enable control of a physical motorized prosthetic leg with multiple degrees of freedom? 3. Does stimulation of sciatic nerve RPNIs provides meaningful sensory feedback? Consenting participants with unilateral transfemoral amputation (TFA) will: 1. Undergo RPNI surgery and electrode implantation in the residual limb. 2. Attend regular follow-up visits following surgery to assess the health and signal strength of the RPNIs and their ability to use a prescribed prosthesis between 3- and 12-months following implantation. 3. This a two phase project that aims to pilot a new adaptation (Phase 1) of Motivationally Enhanced Compensatory Cognitive Training for Mild Cognitive Impairment (ME-CCT; an originally VA-based cognitive rehabilitation manualized intervention for older adults with MCI, with a focus on the impact of stress on cognitive functioning; that integrates components from the Race Based Stress and Empowerment (RBSE) group for an increased focus on race-based stress and discrimination for racial minority older adults (i.e., RBSEF-CCT-MCI). In a pilot open trial, 75-150 participants will receive group-based intervention for 8 weeks, with 8-10 participants per group. Following the pilot study, the investigators will complete a randomized controlled trial (RCT) (Phase 2) to compare the efficacy of the RBSEF-CCT-MCI with the ME-CCT. In the RCT, 75-150 participants will be randomized into either 1) The active control group, who will complete the original, ME-CCT training program, or 2) The experimental group, who will complete the newly developed RBSE-CCT-MCI. Both research groups will complete the interventions for 8 weeks, with 8-10 participants per group. Hypothesis: Participation in this newly developed/updated intervention (i.e., RBSEF-CCT-MCI) will result in improvements in both (a) subjective and (b) objective cognitive functioning, and (c) self-reported mental health symptoms. For this study, the proposed intervention will be noninvasively delivered near infra-red (NIR) light - transcranial Photobiomodulation (tPBM) - to the brains of autistic children. This will occur, twice a week, for 10 weeks. The NIR light is delivered to specific brain areas by Cognilum, a wearable device developed by Jelikalite. The expected outcome is improved focus, improved eye contact, improved speech, improved behavior, and gains in functional skills. Cognilum may impact the clinical practice of treating autism. At the beginning, at five weeks, and at the end of study, the clinician will complete the CARS-2, SRS, CGI, and a caregiver interview; additionally, questionnaires will be administered to caregivers during one of the 1-hour weekly treatment sessions.
