Lung Cancer Paid Clinical Trials in Alabama

The study has 2 parts. The first part is open to adults with different types of advanced cancer (solid tumours with changes in the HER2 gene) for whom previous treatment was not successful. The second part is open to people with non-small cell lung cancer with a specific mutation in the HER2 gene. The purpose of the first study part is to find the highest dose of a medicine called zongertinib the participants can tolerate. Once this dose is found, it will be used in the second study part to test whether zongertinib can make tumours shrink. In this study, zongertinib is given to people for the first time. Participants take zongertinib as tablets once a day or twice a day. The participants are in the study for as long as they benefit from and can tolerate treatment. Study doctors regularly check the participants' health and monitor the tumours. The doctors also take note of any unwanted effects that could have been caused by zongertinib. Read Less

GEMINI NSCLC Study is a non-interventional study that will be collecting clinical and molecular health information from patients with NSCLC who will receive longitudinal blood collection in addition to their standard of care therapy and disease surveillance with the goals of identifying the molecular evolution of lung cancer with standard of care therapy, and determining the utility of ctDNA dynamics to predict risk of recurrence and therapeutic outcomes. This study, known as LUNAR-2, aims to investigate the effectiveness and safety of using TTFields, delivered by the NovoTTF-200T device, concomitantly administered with pembrolizumab and platinum-based chemotherapy for patients with advanced non-small cell lung cancer that has spread to other parts of the body. The primary goals of the study are to assess overall survival and progression-free survival. BDTX-1535-101 is an open-label, Phase 1 dose escalation and Phase 2 multiple cohort study designed to evaluate the safety, pharmacokinetics (PK), optimal dosage, central nervous system (CNS) activity, and antitumor activity of BDTX-1535. The study population comprises adults with either advanced/metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) with non-classical or acquired epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) resistance (EGFR C797S) mutations with or without CNS disease (in Phase 1 and Phase 2), or glioblastoma (GBM) expressing EGFR alterations (Phase 1 only). This phase II trial studies the side effects of radiation therapy followed by atezolizumab in treating patients with stage II or III non-small cell lung cancer. Hypofractionated radiation therapy delivers higher doses of radiation therapy over a shorter period of time and may kill more cancer cells and have fewer side effects. Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as atezolizumab, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. This phase III trial compares the effect of the combination of ramucirumab and pembrolizumab versus standard of care chemotherapy for the treatment of non-small cell lung cancer that is stage IV or that has come back after a period of improvement (recurrent). Ramucirumab is a monoclonal antibody that may prevent the growth of new blood vessels that tumors need to grow. Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as pembrolizumab, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Chemotherapy drugs work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. This trial may help doctors find out if giving ramucirumab with pembrolizumab is more effective at treating patients with stage IV or recurrent non-small cell lung cancer than standard chemotherapy. This screening and multi-sub-study randomized phase II/III trial will establish a method for genomic screening of similar large cancer populations followed by assigning and accruing simultaneously to a multi-sub-study hybrid Master Protocol (Lung-MAP). The type of cancer trait (biomarker) will determine to which sub-study, within this protocol, a participant will be assigned to compare new targeted cancer therapy, designed to block the growth and spread of cancer, or combinations to standard of care therapy with the ultimate goal of being able to approve new targeted therapies in this setting. The goal of this Phase 3 clinical trial is study the safety and efficacy of the nextgen anti-CTLA-4 antibody, gotistobart (ONC-392/BNT316), in patients with metastatic non-small cell lung cancer who have disease progressed on anti-PD-1/PD-L1 antibody based therapy. The study will test whether gotistobart, in comparison with chemotherapy agent docetaxel, could prolong the life for NSCLC patients.
