The city of Phoenix, Arizona, currently has 37 active clinical trials seeking participants for Breast Cancer research studies.
Breast Cancer, Reasoning, and Activity Intervention
Recruiting
This phase II trial tests whether an exercise intervention works to improve cognitive function in breast cancer survivors. Many breast cancer survivors report cancer-related cognitive impairment, which this has recently become a priority in clinical research due to its dramatic impact on daily functioning, quality of life, and long-term health. Aerobic exercise has the potential to improve cognitive function and brain health in older adults and is recommended as a safe, tolerable, and accessible... Read More

Additional Support Program Via Text Messaging and Telephone-Based Counseling for Breast Cancer Patients Receiving Hormonal Therapy
Recruiting
This phase III trial compares an additional support program (text message reminders and/or telephone-based counseling) with usual care in making sure breast cancer patients take their endocrine therapy medication as prescribed (medication adherence). Medication adherence is how well patients take the medication as prescribed by their doctors, and good medical adherence is when patients take medications correctly. Poor medication adherence has been shown to be a serious barrier to effective treat... Read More

Pembrolizumab vs. Observation in People With Triple-negative Breast Cancer Who Had a Pathologic Complete Response After Chemotherapy Plus Pembrolizumab
Recruiting
The phase III trial compares the effect of pembrolizumab to observation for the treatment of patients with early-stage triple-negative breast cancer who achieved a pathologic complete response after preoperative chemotherapy in combination with pembrolizumab. Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as pembrolizumab, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. This trial may help researchers determine if observa... Read More

An Adjuvant Endocrine-based Therapy Study of Camizestrant (AZD9833) in ER+/HER2- Early Breast Cancer (CAMBRIA-2)
Recruiting
This is a Phase III open-label study to assess if camizestrant improves outcomes compared to standard adjuvant endocrine therapy for patients with ER+/HER2- early breast cancer with intermediate-high or high risk for disease recurrence who completed definitive locoregional therapy (with or without chemotherapy). The planned duration of treatment in either arm within the study will be 7 years.

Study of PF-07220060 With Letrozole in Adults With HR-positive HER2-negative Breast Cancer Who Have Not Received Anticancer Treatment for Advanced/Metastatic Disease
Recruiting
The purpose of this study is to determine the safety and efficacy of PF-07220060 with letrozole compared to approved treatments (ie, palbociclib, ribociclib or abemaciclib with letrozole) in people with breast cancer: * HR-positive (breast cancer cells that need estrogen or progesterone to grow) * HER2-negative (cells that have a small amount or none of a protein called HER2 on their surface); * locally advanced (that has spread from where it started to nearby tissue or lymph nodes) or metastat... Evaluating the Addition of Adjuvant Chemotherapy to Ovarian Function Suppression Plus Endocrine Therapy in Premenopausal Patients With pN0-1, ER-Positive/HER2-Negative Breast Cancer and an Oncotype Recurrence Score Less Than or Equal to 25
Recruiting
This Phase III Trial will determine whether adjuvant chemotherapy (ACT) added to ovarian function suppression (OFS) plus endocrine therapy (ET) is superior to OFS plus ET in improving invasive breast cancer-free survival (IBCFS) among premenopausal, early- stage breast cancer (EBC) patients with estrogen receptor (ER)-positive, HER2-negative tumors and 21-gene recurrence score (RS) between 16-25 (for pN0 patients) and 0-25 (for pN1 patients).

Recruiting
This is a Phase III, 2-arm, randomised, open-label, multicentre, global study assessing the efficacy and safety of neoadjuvant Dato-DXd plus durvalumab followed by adjuvant durvalumab with or without chemotherapy compared with neoadjuvant pembrolizumab plus chemotherapy followed by adjuvant pembrolizumab with or without chemotherapy in participants with previously untreated TNBC or hormone receptor-low/HER2-negative breast cancer.

Adaptive Symptom Self-Management Immunotherapy Study
Recruiting
The use of immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs), alone or in combination with other cancer treatments is increasing dramatically with immune-related adverse events (irAEs) common (90%) during ICI treatment. Most irAEs are symptomatic and symptom self-management with timely reporting of moderate or severe symptoms to health care providers (HCPs) may reduce irAE severity by early recognition and management, resulting in fewer treatment interruptions and unscheduled health services.

Open-Label Umbrella Study To Evaluate Safety And Efficacy Of Elacestrant In Various Combination In Patients With Metastatic Breast Cancer
Recruiting
This is a multicenter, Phase 1b/2 trial. The phase 1b part of the trial aims to determine the RP2D of elacestrant when administered in combination with alpelisib, everolimus, palbociclib, abemaciclib, and ribociclib. S1703 Serum Tumor Marker Directed Disease Monitoring in Patients With Hormone Receptor Positive Her2 Negative Metastatic Breast Cancer
Recruiting
This randomized research trial studies how well serum tumor marker directed disease monitoring works in monitoring patients with hormone receptor positive Her2 negative breast cancer that has spread to other places in the body. Using markers to prompt when scans should be ordered may be as good as the usual approach to monitoring disease.
