The study is researching an experimental drug called dupilumab. The study is focused on participants with active eosinophilic gastritis (EoG) with or without eosinophilic duodenitis (EoD). Participants with EoD only are not eligible for enrollment. EoG and EoD are uncommon, persistent, allergic/immune diseases in which eosinophils (a type of white blood cell) gather in large numbers in the stomach and small intestine and cause inflammation and damage. The aim of the study is to evaluate the effect of dupilumab on relieving EoG (with or without EoD) symptoms and reducing inflammation in the stomach and, if applicable, small intestine in adults and adolescents aged 12 years and older, compared to placebo. This is a Phase 2, international, multicenter, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, dose-ranging, 12-week study. This is an observational study in people with chronic kidney disease (CKD) and type 2 diabetes (T2D) who will be receiving finerenone. Kidneys filter extra water and waste out of the blood and make urine. CKD is a long-term, progressive, decrease in the kidneys' ability to filter the blood properly. In people with T2D, the body does not make enough of a hormone called insulin, or does not use insulin well enough, resulting in high blood sugar levels that can cause damage to the kidneys. As a result, CKD can occur as a complication of T2D. Finerenone works by blocking certain proteins, called mineralocorticoid receptors. An increased stimulation of these proteins is thought to damage the kidneys and the heart. By lowering their stimulation, finerenone reduces the risk of kidney disease progressively getting worse. Finerenone is available and approved for doctors to prescribe to people with CKD and T2D. Since it has only recently become available for these patients, there is a need for more information about the use of finerenone in the real-world setting. The main purpose of the study is to learn more about treatment patterns in people with CKD and T2D who just started or will start finerenone treatment as decided and prescribed by their doctor as part of their routine medical care. To answer this question, the researchers will collect data on: Clinical characteristics (e.g., history of CKD and T2D, blood pressure, heart health) of the participants Reasons for starting finerenone Reasons for stopping finerenone early How long participants have been taking finerenone (planned by their doctor compared to actual time it was taken) Dosing of finerenone Other medications used while taking finerenone The researchers will also collect data on medical problems (called adverse events) that the participants may have during the study. All adverse events are collected, even if they might not be related to the study treatment. Hyperkalemia, a medical term used to describe a potassium level in the blood that is higher than normal, is of special interest when finerenone is combined with some medications commonly taken to control blood pressure. Researchers want to know how often higher potassium levels occur, and when it leads to: Stopping finerenone treatment too early Dialysis (a medical procedure to filter the blood of extra water and waste) Care in a hospital All data will come from medical records or from interviews study doctors will have with the participants during visits that take place during routine medical care. Participants in the US will be invited to provide voluntary blood and urine samples that could be analyzed later to better understand possible changes in protein or nucleic acid levels over time. Each participant will be in the study for 12 months. This is a phase 3, multicenter, randomized, placebo-controlled, double-blind study of treatment with brepocitinib (TYK2/JAK1 inhibitor) in adults with dermatomyositis (DM). The primary objective of this study is to assess the efficacy of two dose levels of brepocitinib in comparison to placebo, as measured by differences in the Total Improvement Score (TIS). This is a Phase 2, randomized two-armed, multi-site study of 138 patients with metastatic castrate sensitive prostate adenocarcinoma. Patients will be randomized 1:1 to receive the fasting mimicking diet, or usual diet. All patients will receive standard of care treatment for their prostate cancer. The fasting mimicking diet will be consumed for 5 days per month for a total of 6 months and will be monitored by trained research dietitians. This study aims to examine the effects of a fasting mimicking diet (5 days per month eating L-Nutra products only for 6 months) vs. usual diet on response to cancer treatment of metastatic castrate sensitive prostate adenocarcinoma. This phase II trial tests the addition of BMS-986016 (relatlimab) to the usual immunotherapy after initial treatment for nasopharyngeal cancer that has come back after a period of improvement (recurrent) or that has spread from where it first started (primary site) to other places in the body (metastatic). Relatlimab is a monoclonal antibody that may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. The usual approach of treatment is initial treatment with chemotherapy such as the combination of cisplatin (or carboplatin) and gemcitabine, along with immunotherapy such as nivolumab. After the initial treatment is finished, patients may continue to receive additional immunotherapy. Carboplatin is in a class of medications known as platinum-containing compounds. It works in a way similar to the anticancer drug cisplatin, but may be better tolerated than cisplatin. Carboplatin works by killing, stopping or slowing the growth of tumor cells. Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as nivolumab, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Gemcitabine is a chemotherapy drug that blocks the cells from making deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) and may kill cancer cells. Giving BMS-986016 in addition to the usual immunotherapy after initial treatment may extend the time without the tumor cells growing or spreading longer than the usual approach in patients with recurrent or metastatic nasopharyngeal cancer.
