This clinical trial is studying nonsquamous non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Participants in this study must have cancer that has spread through their body or can't be removed with surgery. Participants in this study must have been treated with no more than a platinum-based chemotherapy and an anti-PD-(L)1 drug. Participants with tumors that have certain treatable genomic alterations must have had at least 1 drug for that genomic alteration, in addition to platinum-based chemotherapy. This clinical trial uses an experimental drug called sigvotatug vedotin, which is a type of antibody drug conjugate or ADC. ADCs are designed to stick to cancer cells and kill them. This clinical trial also uses a drug called docetaxel. Docetaxel is an anticancer drug that has been approved to treat non-small cell lung cancer. It is usually given to patients who previously received another anticancer treatment. In this study, one group of participants will get sigvotatug vedotin on Days 1 and 15 during each 28-day-cycle. A second group of participants will get docetaxel on Day 1 during each 21-day cycle. This study is being done to see if sigvotatug vedotin works better than docetaxel to treat participants with NSCLC. Pfizer MEVPRO-1 (C2321014) is a randomized, open-label, multi-center clinical trial evaluating whether combining the study medicine (PF-06821497) with enzalutamide is safe and effective compared to physician's choice of either second-line androgen receptor (AR) directed therapy with enzalutamide or docetaxel (chemotherapy) for treating metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC) after progression on prior abiraterone acetate treatment. This study will evaluate the safety and efficacy of intravesical administration of EG-70 in the bladder and its effect on bladder tumors in patients with NMIBC. This study study consists of two phases; a Phase 1 dose-escalation to establish safety and recommended the phase 2 dose, followed by a Phase 2 study to establish how effective the treatment is. This study is researching experimental (study) drugs called pozelimab and cemdisiran. The study is focused on participants who have geographic atrophy (GA) caused by age-related macular degeneration (AMD). Geographic atrophy is a medical term that refers to later-stage cases of AMD which is an eye condition affecting central vision (what one sees straight ahead). The purpose of this study is to evaluate the progression rate of Geographic Atrophy in eyes of patients treated with cemdisiran alone or in combination with pozelimab compared to those treated with placebo. In the clinical performance part of this study, prospectively acquired clinician-collected and clinician-instructed, self-collected vaginal swab specimens collected in cobas® PCR Media will be taken from a minimum of 500 symptomatic individuals with a clinical presentation consistent with vaginitis, vaginosis, or both. Additionally, a minimum of 100 asymptomatic individuals will also be enrolled in the study. The cobas® BV/CV assay amplifies and detects the deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) of pathogens associated with bacterial vaginosis (BV) and candida vaginitis (CV). The BV results will be compared with the patient infection status (PIS) established by using 3 Food and Drug Administration (FDA)-cleared commercial assays, and the CV results will be compared with the PIS established with the use of culture plus MALDI-TOF (matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization time-of-flight). The primary objective of the clinical performance study is to evaluate the performance (sensitivity and specificity) of cobas® BV/CV to determine the presence of BV and/or CV in the intended use patient population when being tested on cobas® 6800/8800 systems. Adults 40 years of age and older with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) or 18 years and older with progressive pulmonary fibrosis (PPF) can participate in this study. Only people who have a chronic cough can take part. The purpose of this study is to find out how well BI 1839100 helps reduce coughing in people with IPF or PPF. Participants who have IPF are put into 4 groups by chance. Participants in 3 groups get different doses of BI 1839100. Participants in 1 group get placebo. Placebo looks like BI 1839100 but does not contain any medicine. Participants take the treatment for 3 months. After 1 month of treatment, participants who take the highest dose will have coughing measured to find out if the medicine works. If it does not work, the study may be stopped. Participants who have IPF are in the study for slightly longer than 4 months. During this time, they visit the study site 7 times. This study will also measure the effects of BI 1839100 on coughing and lung function in a smaller group of people with PPF. During the study, coughing is measured over 24 hours about once per month using a portable device given to participants to use during the study. Participants fill in questionnaires about their coughing. Doctors also perform breathing tests that measure how well the lungs are working at the site visits. Researchers compare the results between participants who take BI 1839100 and placebo. The doctors also regularly check participants' health and take note of any unwanted effects. Read Less

Researchers are looking for a better way to treat men at high-risk of biochemical recurrence (BCR) of prostate cancer. BCR means that in men who had prostate cancer and were treated by either surgery and/ or radiation therapy, the blood level of a specific protein called PSA rises. PSA is a marker of prostate cancer cells activity. The PSA increase means that the cancer has come back even though conventional imaging such as computed tomography (CT) scans, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and bone scans does not show any lesion of prostate cancer. Recently a more sensitive imaging method called prostate-specific membrane antigen \[PSMA\] positron emission tomography \[PET\]) /computed tomography \[CT\]) scan may identify prostate cancer lesions not detectable by conventional imaging. Men with BCR have a higher risk of their cancer spreading to other parts of the body, particularly when PSA levels raised to a certain limit within a short period of time after local therapies. Once the cancer spreads to other parts of the body, it can become even harder to treat. In men with prostate cancer, male sex hormones (also called androgens) like testosterone can help the cancer grow and spread. To reduce androgens levels in these patients, there are treatments that block androgens production in the body called androgen deprivation therapy (ADT). ADT is often used to stop prostate cancer. Another way to stop prostate cancer growth and spread is to block the action of androgen receptors on prostate cancer cells called androgen receptor inhibitors (ARIs). The new generation ARIs including darolutamide can block the action of androgens receptors and are available for the treatment of prostate cancer in addition to ADT. It is already known that men with prostate cancer benefit from these treatments. The main objective of this study is to learn if the combination of darolutamide and ADT prolongs the time that the participants live without their cancer getting worse, or to death due to any cause, compared to placebo (which is a treatment that looks like a medicine but does not have any medicine in it) and ADT given for a pre-specified duration of 24 months. To do this, the study team will measure the time from the date of treatment allocation to the finding of new cancer spread in the participants by using PSMA PET/CT, or death due to any cause. The PSMA PET/CT scans is performed using a radioactive substance called a "tracer" that specifically binds to the prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA) which is a protein often found in large amounts on prostate cancer cells. To avoid bias in treatment, the study participants will be randomly (by chance) allocated to one of two treatment groups. Based on the allocated treatment group, the participants will either take darolutamide plus ADT or placebo plus ADT twice daily as tablets by mouth. The study will consist of a test (screening) phase, a treatment phase and a follow-up phase. The treatment duration is pre-specified to be 24 months unless the cancer gets worse, the participants have medical problems, or they leave the study for any reason. In addition, image guided radiotherapy (IGRT) or surgery is allowed and your doctor will explain the benefits and risks of this type of therapy. During the study, the study team will: * take blood and urine samples. * measure PSA and testosterone levels in the blood samples * do physical examinations * check the participants' overall health * examine heart health using electrocardiogram (ECG) * check vital signs * check cancer status using PSMA PET/CT scans, CT, MRI and bone scans * take tumor samples (if required) * ask the participants if they have medical problems About 30 days after the participants have taken their last treatment, the study doctors and their team will check the participants' health and if their cancer worsened. The study team will continue to check this and regularly ask the participants questions about medical problems and subsequent therapies until they leave the study for any reason or until they leave the study for any reason or until the end of the study, whatever comes first. ABBV-RGX-314 (also known as RGX-314) is being developed as a novel one-time gene therapy for the treatment of neovascular (wet) age-related macular degeneration (wet AMD). Wet AMD is characterized by loss of vision due to new, leaky blood vessel formation in the retina. Wet AMD is a significant cause of vision loss in the United States, Europe and Japan, with up to 2 million people living with wet AMD in these geographies alone. Current anti-vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) therapies have significantly changed the landscape for treatment of wet AMD, becoming the standard of care due to their ability to prevent progression of vision loss in the majority of patients. These therapies, however, require life-long intraocular injections, typically repeated every four to 12 weeks in frequency, to maintain efficacy. Due to the burden of treatment, patients often experience a decline in vision with reduced frequency of treatment over time. The primary objective of the study is to determine the relative efficacy of the investigational oral severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV2) vaccine tablet VXA-CoV2-3.3 compared to a currently recommended vaccine for the prevention of symptomatic Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19).
