Pancreas Cancer Clinical Trials

The study is designed to understand the safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, immunogenicity, and preliminary antitumor activity of MGC026 in participants with relapsed or refractory, unresectable, locally advanced or metastatic solid tumors The study has a dose escalation portion and a cohort expansion portion of the study. Participants will receive MGC026 by intravenous (IV) infusion. The dose of MGC026 will be assigned at the time of enrollment. Participants may receive up to 35 treatments if there are no severe side effects and as long as the cancer does not get worse. Participants will be monitored for side effects, and progression of cancer, have blood samples collected for routing laboratory work, and blood samples collected for research purposes. Read Less

The purpose of this study is to determine the proportion of positive ctDNA -freely circulating tumor DNA fragments found in the blood plasma- in patients with pancreatic cancer and to better understand the relationship between possible ctDNA biomarkers and patient survival. A successful study may provide preliminary evidence that helps improve future patient care through targeted diagnostics, prognosis, and/or treatment. Read Less

The investigators hypothesize that abnormalities in thromboelastography (TEG) parameters in patients with liver, pancreas, biliary, esophageal, colorectal, and lung adenocarcinoma can serve as biomarkers for oncologic disease burden, cancer recurrence and overall survival as well as thrombotic and hemorrhagic post-operative complications. The purpose of this study is to establish a registry of patients with pancreatic diseases. Patients included in the registry may include those with: pancreatic cancer, precancerous lesions of the pancreas, inflammatory lesions of the pancreas, cystic lesions of the pancreas, and patients at high-risk of pancreatic cancer such as those with a family history of pancreatic cancer or with a family history of a syndrome known to be associated with pancreatic cancer. Pancreatic cancer is the fourth leading cause of death from cancer in the United States. However, little is known about the development of pancreatic cancer and pancreatic diseases in individuals with the above conditions. Knowledge of how family history, environmental exposures, and inflammatory lesion of the pancreas contribute to the development of pancreatic cancer and pancreatic diseases is essential. You may qualify to take part in this research study because you have inflammation in the pancreas, a pancreatic cyst, pre-cancerous lesions of the pancreas, pancreatic cancer, a family history of pancreatic cancer, or a family history of a syndrome known to be associated with pancreatic cancer. We will also be collecting a blood sample from all participants for DNA isolation. Sometimes we are born with genes or DNA that give us an increased or decreased chance of developing an illness later in life. Genetic material will be isolated from your blood for further study. You may also choose to provide additional blood samples for serum and plasma extraction. Serum and plasma are components of the blood which can be used to measure indicators of disease in the blood, called biomarkers,for pancreatic diseases. Clinical data and biological specimens contained in this study may be used for a wide variety of future related studies to the cause, diagnosis, outcome and treatment of pancreatic cancer. To develop a culturally tailored informational mobile application and test whether it will increase participation among Black pancreatic cancer subjects in clinical trial discussions with their care team. This project aims to identify and address barriers to enrollment of Black subjects in pancreatic cancer clinical trials using a culturally informed mobile health application to promote participation. The clinical trial education and communication needs of Black people with pancreatic cancer will be determined. A new mHealth application for clinical trial education and communication tailored to subject needs will be developed. It was hypothesized that a culturally tailored informational mobile application will increase the participation of Black subjects in clinical trial discussions with their care team among the target population. This study focuses on Black pancreatic cancer subjects, who experience higher mortality rates and lower clinical trial participation than White subjects. Research shows that the disparity between clinical trial participation is in part due to inequitable recruitment practices. This study will use mobile application technology (mHealth app) as an educational, communication, audit, and feedback tool to promote patient-initiated clinical trial discussions among Black people with pancreatic cancer and their cancer care team. The purpose of this clinical trial is to determine whether using chemotherapy followed by stereotactic ablative body radiation therapy (SABR) and tumor treating fields (TTF) will slow tumor growth in people with locally advanced pancreas cancer. All participants will receive SABR therapy once per day for five days and use the TTF system for at least 18 hours per day starting on the first day of SABR until the tumor progresses or severe toxicity develops.
