Cancer Paid Clinical Trials in Connecticut

Patients will be registered prior to, during or at the completion of neoadjuvant chemotherapy (Paclitaxel 175 mg/m2 IV over 3 hours and Carboplatin AUC 6 IV on Day 1 every 21 days for 3-4 cycles). Registered patients who progress during neoadjuvant chemotherapy will not be eligible for iCRS and will be removed from the study. Following completion of neoadjuvant chemotherapy, interval cytoreductive surgery (iCRS) will be performed in the usual fashion in both arms. Patients will be randomized at the time of iCRS (iCRS must achieve no gross residual disease or no disease \>1.0 cm in largest diameter) to receive HIPEC or no HIPEC. Patients randomized to HIPEC (Arm A) will receive a single dose of cisplatin (100mg/m2 IP over 90 minutes at 42 C) as HIPEC. After postoperative recovery patients will receive standard post-operative platinum-based combination chemotherapy. Patients randomized to surgery only (Arm B) will receive postoperative standard chemotherapy after recovery from surgery. Both groups will receive an additional 2-3 cycles of platinum-based combination chemotherapy per institutional standard (Paclitaxel 175 mg/m2 IV over 3 hours and Carboplatin AUC 6 IV on Day 1 every 21 days for 2-3 cycles) for a maximum total of 6 cycles of chemotherapy (neoadjuvant plus post-operative cycles) followed by niraparib individualized dosing until progression or 36 months (if no evidence of disease). The purpose of this study is to find out the effects of exercise therapy on indicators of prostate cancer in people with low-risk prostate cancer who are on active surveillance. The exercise therapy in this study will be regular home-based walking sessions on a treadmill, and that therapy will be assigned by an exercise physiologist (a medical professional who studies how exercise affects the human body). Some participants in this study will have the assigned exercise therapy, and some participants will participate in their usual exercise routines. Researchers will compare how the assigned exercise therapy and the usual exercise routines affect indicators of prostate cancer in participants. This Phase 1/2, open-label, multicenter study is conducted in patients with previously treated selected solid tumors, including non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), small cell lung cancer (SCLC), high-grade neuroendocrine cancer of any primary site, diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL), and tumors with L-MYC or N-MYC amplification. Patients receive escalating doses of a GSPT1 molecular glue degrader MRT-2359 to determine safety, tolerability, maximum tolerated dose (MTD) and/or recommended Phase 2 dose (RP2D) of MRT-2359. This phase II Expanded Lung-MAP treatment trial tests tepotinib with or without ramucirumab for the treatment of patients with advanced non-small cell lung cancer that has spread from where it first started (primary site) to other places in the body (stage IV) or that has come back after a period of improvement (recurrent). Tepotinib is used in patients whose cancer has a mutated (changed) form of a gene called MET. It is in a class of medications called kinase inhibitors. It works by blocking the action of the abnormal MET protein that signals tumor cells to multiply. This helps slow or stop the spread of tumor cells. Ramucirumab is a monoclonal antibody that may prevent the growth of new blood vessels that tumors need to grow. Giving tepotinib with ramucirumab may lower the chance of the cancer from growing or spreading in patients with stage IV or recurrent non-small cell lung cancer. Read Less

The study will assess the safety, PK, PD, and preliminary efficacy of ABBVCLS-484 as monotherapy and in combination with a PD-1 targeting agent or with a or a vascular endothelial growth factor receptor (VEGFR) tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI). The trial aims to establish a safe, tolerable, and efficacious dose of ABBVCLS-484 as monotherapy and in combination. The study will be conducted in three parts. Part 1 Monotherapy Dose Escalation, Part 2 Combination Dose Escalation and Part 3 Dose Expansion (Monotherapy and Combination therapy). Part 1, ABBV-CLS-484 will be administered alone in escalating dose levels to eligible subjects who have advanced solid tumors. Part 2, ABBV-CLS-484 will be administered at escalating dose levels in combination with a PD-1 targeting agent or with a VEGFR TKI to eligible subjects who have advanced solid tumors. Part 3, ABBV-CLS-484 will be administered alone as a monotherapy at the determined recommended dose in subjects with locally advanced or metastatic, relapsed or refractory head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC), relapsed or refractory non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), and advanced clear cell renal cell carcinoma (ccRCC). The purpose of this study is to determine whether certain genes in cancer may be abnormal. When a gene is abnormal this is called a mutation. Most mutations in cancer cells are not inherited (passed down from parents) but happen after birth in the cancer itself. Most cancers have many mutations. Some of these mutations are important for the cancer cells to survive while others are not. The goal of this study is test cancer for certain mutations using leftover tumor tissue from a previous surgery or biopsy. Participants will also be asked to provide a tube of blood cheek (also known as a buccal) swab, or a saliva sample that contains normal genes for comparison. The purpose of Part B of this study is to: Understand how genetic changes in tumor effect the chance of responding to experimental cancer treatment. The goal of this study is to create a data set to add to Carevive's registry from real world clinical and patient reported data collected using an electronic care planning system (CPS) with remote symptom monitoring that is used in routine care for cancer patients on active treatment. Patients will complete a baseline survey in person using a secured device or remotely using their own electronic device in a location of their choice. Weekly electronic patient reported outcome (PRO) surveys are collected from the patients using the Carevive platform for a minimum of 12 weeks.
