This study will measure Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA) values in men with Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) before, during, and following a flare. In addition, the effect of any PSA increase will be analyzed and correlated to the location of disease (rectal vs. other). Study findings may help men with IBD by identifying pitfalls in prostate cancer screening for this population and help to stratify and understand the effect IBD has on the prostatic milieu. By optimizing how men with IBD are screened for prostate cancer, future unnecessary healthcare encounters and expenditures may be reduced for this patient group. Read Less

Esophageal cancer is a deadly disease that is becoming increasingly common in the United States. Barrett's esophagus (BE) is a pre-cancerous state that can develop into esophageal cancer, but is highly treatable. Progression of BE to esophageal cancer is still common due to missed diagnosis of Barrett's esophagus recurrence following treatment. Wide-Area Trans-Epithelial Sampling (WATS-3D) is a new technology that uses brush sampling to examine larger areas of the esophagus as compared to conventional biopsies. Preliminary studies show improved detection of cancerous changes in Barrett's esophagus surveillance. The investigators hope to see if the addition of WATS-3D increases the rate of detection of recurrent BE following treatment, which is of the utmost importance since it would allow for earlier re-treatment of disease and ultimately allow for prevention of progression to esophageal cancer. This is a prospective, randomized controlled trial to compare cancer control and health-related quality of life following pelvic fascia-sparing radical prostatectomy versus standard radical prostatectomy. The investigators hypothesize that pelvic fascia-sparing radical prostatectomy will have similar cancer control (primary outcome) and sexual function outcomes; and significantly better urinary function, penile shortening/deformity and inguinal hernia risks as compared to radical prostatectomy. In this study, participants with high risk non-muscle-invasive bladder cancer (NMIBC) unresponsive to Bacillus Calmette Guerin (BCG) therapy and who are considered ineligible for or have refused to undergo radical cystectomy, will receive pembrolizumab therapy or pembrolizumab in combination with other investigational agents. This study is being done to understand how many people with HIV (PWH) present for cancer care across the AIDS Malignancy Consortium in the United States and if there are reasons that some PWH choose to participate, or not in cancer clinical trials. This trial studies how well paclitaxel, trastuzumab, and pertuzumab work in eliminating further chemotherapy after surgery in patients with HER2-positive stage II-IIIa breast cancer who have no cancer remaining at surgery (either in the breast or underarm lymph nodes) after pre-operative chemotherapy and HER2-targeted therapy. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as paclitaxel, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Trastuzumab and pertuzumab are both a form of "targeted therapy" because they work by attaching themselves to specific molecules (receptors) on the surface of tumor cells, known as HER2 receptors. When these drugs attach to HER2 receptors, the signals that tell the cells to grow are blocked and the tumor cell may be marked for destruction by the body's immune system. Giving paclitaxel, trastuzumab, and pertuzumab may enable fewer chemotherapy drugs to be given without compromising patient outcomes compared to the usual treatment. Read Less

The intent of this study is to establish a registry of post-surgical outcomes in patients undergoing radical cystectomy at MD Anderson Cancer Center and the collaborating institutions. The goals of this initiative are to obtain a detailed baseline of multiple patient-reported outcomes (PRO) and clinician-reported outcomes (CRO) as well as various presenting conditions associated with them, so that future quality improvement interventions can be evaluated accurately as to their relative contribution to improved outcomes.
