This phase I/II tests the safety, side effects and best dose of ruxolitinib in combination with enzalutamide and how well it works in treating patients with prostate cancer that remains despite blocking hormone production (castration-resistant) and that has spread from where it first started to other places in the body (metastatic). Ruxolitinib, a kinase inhibitor, slows down the growth of the tumor by blocking the proteins, JAK1 and JAK2, tumors use to grow. Enzalutamide, an androgen receptor inhibitor, works by blocking the effects of androgen (a male reproductive hormone). This may help stop the growth and spread of tumor cells that need testosterone to grow. Giving ruxolitinib in combination with enzalutamide may be safe, tolerable, and/or effective in treating metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer. Read Less

The Chrysalis Initiative (TCI) has with its technology partner Eversana/Intouch developed the BC-Navigate website/application to help guide women through care delivery during breast cancer treatment. TCI a nonprofit, breast cancer education and navigation organization is developing methods to address health inequities in cancer care delivery. TCI and its new academic/clinical partner, The Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center of Northwestern University, propose to apply TCI's developed patient navigation support techniques to enhance knowledge and self-advocacy among a cohort of Black and African American women, and other women of color (WOC), receiving care in Northwestern's breast cancer program. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to apply TCI's patient navigation-and-coaching program and its website/mobile app (Breast Cancer-Navigate) platform to improve timely initiation to patient adjuvant treatment among WOC breast cancer patients and evaluate the feasibility and preliminary efficacy of this approach. This clinical trial evaluates whether positron emission tomography-magnetic resonance imaging (PET-MRI) using the radioactive drug radiohybrid prostate-specific membrane antigen (rhPSMA)-7.3 may help in detecting higher grade or stage disease in men with low and favorable intermediate risk prostate cancer who are candidates for active surveillance. A PET scan is a test that uses a radioactive drug and a computer to create images of how organs and tissues in the body are functioning. The radioactive drug used in this study, rhPSMA-7.3, attaches to the abnormal cells in the body at a different rate than normal cells which allows the scanner to create a detailed picture of how the body is working. An MRI scan uses strong magnets and computers to create detailed images of the soft tissue in your body. A multiparametric (mp)MRI is a type of MRI scan that creates a more detailed picture of the prostate gland. Using rhPSMA-73 with PET-MRI and mpMRI may be more effective in detecting higher grade or stage disease in men with low and favorable intermediate risk prostate cancer. Read Less

This phase III trial compares the effect of olaparib for one year versus two years, with or without bevacizumab, for the treatment of BRCA 1/2 mutated or homologous recombination deficient stage III or IV ovarian cancer. Olaparib is a polyadenosine 5'-diphosphoribose polymerase (PARP) enzyme inhibitor and may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Bevacizumab is in a class of medications called antiangiogenic agents. It works by stopping the formation of blood vessels that bring oxygen and nutrients to tumor. This may slow the growth and spread of tumor. Giving olaparib for one year with or without bevacizumab may be effective in treating patients with BRCA 1/2 mutated or homologous recombination deficient stage III or IV ovarian cancer, when compared to two years of olaparib. Liver transplantation (LT) has become an accepted treatment for selected patients with unresectable liver metastases due to colorectal cancer (CRLM). The goal of this study is to look at and compare the clinical results of all the different approved methods (living vs. Deceased, whole organ vs. Split, one staged vs. Two staged) used to perform a standard liver transplant procedure for recipients with CRLM. Investigators will look at things like different procedure results, recovery in the hospital, and survival rates one year after the transplant. Investigators will also take blood samples from participants to be used in future research. All the transplant methods the investigators are comparing are standard practices approved by the United Network of Organ Sharing (UNOS). Read Less

This is a prospective, randomized controlled trial to compare cancer control and health-related quality of life following pelvic fascia-sparing radical prostatectomy versus standard radical prostatectomy. The investigators hypothesize that pelvic fascia-sparing radical prostatectomy will have similar cancer control (primary outcome) and sexual function outcomes; and significantly better urinary function, penile shortening/deformity and inguinal hernia risks as compared to radical prostatectomy.
