Recruiting
The purpose of this study is to determine the Objective Response Rate (ORR) of zolbetuzimab as a single agent as assessed by an independent central reader. This study will also assess the ORR and Progression Free Survival (PFS) of zolbetuximab in combination with mFOLFOX6 (with or without Nivolumab) and in combination with pembrolizumab, assess the safety and tolerability, assess the effects on CLDN18.2 expression and assess the immunogenicity and immunomodulatory effects of zolbetuximab as a si... Study of Sacituzumab Govitecan-hziy and Pembrolizumab Versus Treatment of Physician's Choice and Pembrolizumab in Patients With Previously Untreated, Locally Advanced Inoperable or Metastatic Triple-Negative Breast Cancer
Recruiting
The primary objective of this study is to compare the progression-free survival (PFS) between sacituzumab govitecan-hziy (SG) and pembrolizumab versus treatment of physician's choice (TPC) and pembrolizumab in participants with previously untreated, locally advanced inoperable or metastatic triple-negative breast cancer, whose tumors express programmed cell death ligand 1 (PD-L1).

Time-restricted Eating Versus Daily Continuous Calorie Restriction on Body Weight and Colorectal Cancer Risk Markers
Recruiting
Approximately 42% of American adults are obese, and this condition is strongly related to the development of colorectal cancer. Innovative lifestyle strategies to treat obesity and reduce colorectal cancer risk are critically needed. This research will demonstrate that time-restricted eating, a type of intermittent fasting, is an effective therapy to help obese individuals reduce and control their body weight and prevent the development of colorectal cancer.

Women Informed to Screen Depending on Measures of Risk (Wisdom Study)
Recruiting
Most physicians still use a one-size-fits-all approach to breast screening in which all women, regardless of their personal history, family history or genetics (except BRCA carriers) are recommended to have annual mammograms starting at age 40. Mammograms benefit women by detecting cancers early when they are easier to treat, but they are not perfect. Recent news stories have discussed some of the potential harms: large numbers of positive results that cause stressful recalls for additional mamm... Read More

A Study to Evaluate the Efficacy and Safety of Multiple Targeted Therapies as Treatments for Participants With Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC)
Recruiting
This is a phase 2/3, global, multicenter, open-label, multi-cohort study designed to evaluate the safety and efficacy of targeted therapies or immunotherapy as single agents or in combination in participants with unresectable, advanced or metastatic NSCLC determined to harbor oncogenic somatic mutations or positive by tumor mutational burden (TMB) assay as identified by two blood-based next-generation sequencing (NGS) circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) assays.

Transnasal Esophagoscopy (TNE) Esophageal Cancer Screening
Recruiting
This research study is being done for 2 reasons: 1) The investigators want to learn about the eating, smoking and drinking habits of adults, 18 years of age and older, in various Chicago communities, and 2) the investigators want to offer screening for participants whose smoking and drinking habits put them at risk for cancer.

Accurate, Rapid and Inexpensive MRI Protocol for Breast Cancer Screening
Recruiting
The purpose of this study is to test an innovative MRI breast cancer screening method in women with mammographically dense breasts as well as other women with moderately increased cancer risk. MRI, combined with other methods of risk assessment, has potential to significantly improve sensitivity to cancer in dense breasts and detect cancer in all cases at a much earlier stage, with far fewer interval cancers than mammography. Previous tests of MRI sensitivity show that this screening could signi... Read More

TACTIVE-U: A Study to Learn About the Study Medicine (Vepdegestrant) When Given With Other Medicines in People With Advanced or Metastatic Breast Cancer (Sub-Study B)
Recruiting
The purpose of this clinical trial is to learn about the safety and effects of the study medicine (called ARV-471) when given together with other medicines for the potential treatment of advanced or metastatic breast cancer. This study is seeking participants who have breast cancer that: is advanced, may have spread to other organs (metastatic) and cannot be fully treated by surgery or radiation therapy is sensitive to hormonal therapy (it is called estrogen receptor positive); and is no longe... Impact of Sentinel Lymph Node Mapping on Patient Reported Lower Extremity Limb Dysfunction in Stage I Endometrial Cancer
Recruiting
This phase III trial compares the effect of sentinel lymph node mapping to standard lymph node dissection in reducing the risk of swelling in the legs (lymphedema) in patients undergoing a hysterectomy for stage I endometrial cancer. Standard lymph node dissection removes lymph nodes around the uterus during a hysterectomy to look for spread of cancer from the uterus to nearby lymph nodes. Sentinel lymph node mapping uses a special dye and camera to look for cancer that may have spread to nearby... Read More
