The vast majority of patients with stage I (tumors ≥ 4cm), IIA, IIB (and select stage III) NSCLC are managed with upfront surgery, followed by adjuvant chemotherapy. However, relapse rates remain high and are primarily due to distant, metastatic disease. Previous meta-analysis evaluating the use of neo-adjuvant chemotherapy and adjuvant chemotherapy demonstrate a similar impact on improved disease free survival (DFS) and overall survival (OS). The role of checkpoint inhibitors has been proven to be effective in the treatment of patients with advanced NSCLC, regardless of histology and PD-L1 expression. Results from trials evaluating the use of checkpoint inhibitors alone or in combination with chemotherapy in the neoadjuvant setting for early stage disease are promising. However, there are no trials evaluating the role of concomitant chemotherapy and checkpoint inhibitors in the adjuvant setting. In addition, emerging data supports the use of ctDNA as a promising biomarker for early detection of minimal residual disease and have indicated that the presence of detectable ctDNA after surgery for localized lung cancer is correlated with a 90-100% chance for disease recurrence. Therefore, we propose this current study assessing concomitant chemotherapy plus Atezolizumab in the adjuvant setting for patients with stage I (tumors ≥ 4cm), IIA, IIB (and select stage III) NSCLC who have detectable ctDNA after surgery. The intent of this study is to establish a registry of post-surgical outcomes in patients undergoing radical cystectomy at MD Anderson Cancer Center and the collaborating institutions. The goals of this initiative are to obtain a detailed baseline of multiple patient-reported outcomes (PRO) and clinician-reported outcomes (CRO) as well as various presenting conditions associated with them, so that future quality improvement interventions can be evaluated accurately as to their relative contribution to improved outcomes. The overarching objective of this project is to develop a pan-gynecologic cancer detection test using gynecologic (unique endometrial, cervical, and ovarian cancer) cancer-specific methylated DNA markers and high-risk human papilloma virus (HR-HPV) detected in vaginal fluid and/or plasma. This proposal defines Phase II MDM-based cancer detection studies in endometrial cancer (EC) and endometrial hyperplasia with atypia (AEH) in tampon-collected vaginal fluid and 2) ovarian cancer (OC) in plasma and tampon-collected vaginal fluid. This phase III trial compares the effect of stero-ablative radiotherapy (SAbR) followed by standard of care systemic therapy, to standard of care systemic therapy alone, in patients with kidney cancer that has spread from where it first started (primary site) to a limited (2-5) number of places in the body (metastatic). Study doctors want to find out if this approach is better or worse than the usual approach for metastatic kidney cancer. The usual approach is defined as the care most people get for metastatic kidney cancer which includes systemic therapy such as immunotherapy (given through the veins) and/or small molecular inhibitor (tablets taken by mouth). Radiotherapy uses high energy x-rays to kill cancer cells and shrink tumors. SAbR uses special equipment to position a patient and deliver radiation to tumors with high precision. Giving SAbR prior to systemic therapy may kill more tumor cells than the usual approach, which is systemic therapy alone. Read Less

Prostate cancer is the most frequently diagnosed cancer in men in the Unites States. Nearly 1 million prostate biopsy procedures are performed in the United States annually and elevated prostate-specific antigen (PSA) level is the primary reason for prostate biopsy in \> 90% of cases. However, at the PSA levels which trigger prostate biopsy, often no cancer is found in prostate biopsy specimens. PSA test can be elevated due to reasons other than cancer such as inflammation or natural variation in the level. Investigators plan to treat men with elevated PSA level with over the counter anti-inflammatory medications (ibuprofen, naproxen) to see if the PSA level will decrease to an acceptable level. The goal of this clinical trial is to learn if the vaccine FK-PC101 works to delay or prevent the return of prostate cancer in men who have had surgery to remove their prostate cancer. It will also learn about the safety of FK-PC101. The main questions it aims to answer are: Does FK-PC101 delay or prevent the return of prostate cancer following surgery? What medical problems do participants (subjects) have when taking FK-PC101? Researchers will compare FK-PC101 to current treatment practice to see if FK-PC101 works to prevent or delay the return of prostate cancer following surgery to remove the prostate cancer tumor. Subjects will: Have a sample of the prostate cancer tissue collected at the time of surgery to remove this tissue from the body. This tissue will then be used to create a personalized vaccine that is specific to your prostate cancer. If randomly selected to receive the vaccine, subjects will receive the vaccine up to 7 times over a 6-month period. In addition to the treatment visits for those randomized to receive FK-PC101, there will be up to 4 follow up visits to the clinic over a 22-month (nearly 2 year) period. For subjects randomized to receive current treatment practice, they will be asked to attend up to 8 visits over 22 months to track if there is any detectable cancer. Should their prostate cancer return within a year following surgery, they will be eligible to receive FK-PC101, which already had been produced and thus no additional tumor tissue would need to be obtained. Subjects in both study arms will have regular blood tests and scans to test whether their prostate cancer has returned. Read Less

This study will investigate if a shorter treatment course (known as "hypofractionation") for pelvic radiation is safe for women with endometrial cancer. Doctors leading the study will also determine the safest and most tolerable dose of shortened radiation (hypofractionation) used to treat women in this study. Because this study will shorten the radiation course typically used to treat endometrial cancer, each daily treatment given to women in this study will be slightly higher than normal to ensure that the total radiation dose they receive is still effective and similar to the radiation dose they would receive if they were not participating in this study (standard treatment).
