This Phase 1 study evaluates whether the administration of an S-nitrosylation (SNO) agent during autologous red blood cell transfusion can improve tissue oxygenation. The study investigates if replenishing S-nitrosylated hemoglobin (SNO-Hb) levels in stored blood enhances its oxygen delivery capacity. Compensation will be provided.

Bipolar Study for Patients Aged 10 to 17

A new short-term study is enrolling children and teens (ages 10-17) with bipolar depression. To pre-qualify, participants must meet the following criteria:
- Male or female patients 10 to 17 years of age
- Have primary diagnosis of Bipolar I or Bipolar II Disorder
- Have a history of at least one manic or hypomanic episode
- Current major depressive episode is ≥ 4 weeks and less than 12 months in duration

The investigators propose examining the feasibility and acceptability of the 12-week RN-CHeFRx (Real Nourishment and Cooking Healthy Food is Rx) intervention
- grocery delivery, cooking classes, and nutrition education - for Black women with hypertension and obesity to improve nutritious eating habits and blood pressure control.
