Cancer Paid Clinical Trials in Massachusetts

The goal of this study is to understand and improve the breast surgical decision-making process for young women newly diagnosed with breast cancer. As part of this study, the investigators will evaluate the impact and use a web-based tool called CONSYDER that is designed to provide useful information to young breast cancer patients. It is also meant to improve communication between young women and their surgeons with the purpose of helping patients make appropriate surgical decisions. Participants will complete surveys approximately within 1 week of the surgical consult and approximately 6 months after surgery. Patients who receive neoadjuvant chemotherapy will also be surveyed after the completion of neoadjuvant treatment but prior to surgery. Some patients will be invited for an interview after their surgery as part of the evaluation. A subset of patients/surgeons will also have their surgical consultation audio-recorded. Read Less

Objective: To collect information on how often a solid tumor cancer might lose the Human Leukocyte Antigen (HLA) by next generation sequencing and perform apheresis to collect and store an eligible participant's own T cells for future use to make CAR T-Cell therapy for their disease treatment. Design: This is a non-interventional, observational study to evaluate participants with solid tumors with a high risk of relapse for incurable disease. No interventional therapy will be administered on this study. Some of the information regarding the participant's tumor analysis may be beneficial to management of their disease. Participants that meet all criteria may be enrolled and leukapheresed (blood cells collected). The goal of this study is to test A2B694, an autologous logic-gated Tmod™ CAR T-cell product in subjects with solid tumors including colorectal cancer (CRC), pancreatic cancer (PANC), non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), ovarian cancer (OVCA), mesothelioma (MESO), and other solid tumors that express MSLN and have lost HLA-A\*02 expression. This study is researching an investigational drug, called BNT116, in combination with cemiplimab. BNT116 and cemiplimab will each be called a "study drug", and together be called "study drugs". The study is focused on patients who have advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). The aims of this study are to see how safe and tolerable BNT116 is in combination with cemiplimab and to see how effective BNT116 in combination with cemiplimab is compared to cemiplimab by itself at treating cancer. This phase III trial compares stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT), (five treatments over two weeks using a higher dose per treatment) to usual radiation therapy (20 to 45 treatments over 4 to 9 weeks) for the treatment of high-risk prostate cancer. SBRT uses special equipment to position a patient and deliver radiation to tumors with high precision. This method may kill tumor cells with fewer doses over a shorter period of time.
