Pediatric traumatic injury (PTI) is a public health priority, with more than 125,000 children experiencing injuries that require hospitalization each year. These children, and their caregivers, are affected in many ways that may affect quality of life, emotional and behavioral health, physical recovery, family roles and routines, and academic functioning; yet US trauma centers do not adequately address these outcomes and a scalable national model of care for these families is needed. This proposal builds on prior research from the investigative team to test a technology-assisted, stepped care behavioral health intervention for children (\<12 years) and their caregivers after PTI, CAARE (Caregivers' Aid to Accelerate Recovery after pediatric Emergencies), via a hybrid type I effectiveness-implementation trial with 348 families randomly assigned to CAARE (n=174) vs. guideline-adherent enhanced usual care (EUC) (n=174). A migraine is a moderate to severe headache on one side of the head. A migraine attack is a headache that may be accompanied by throbbing, nausea, vomiting, sensitivity to light and sound, or other symptoms. A number of treatments are available for adults with migraine but there are limited approved treatments available for pediatric participants. The main goal of the study is to evaluate the safety and efficacy (how well treatment works) of a low-dose and high-dose of atogepant in pediatric participants between the ages of 6 and 17. Atogepant is a medicine currently approved to treat adults with migraine (0 to 14 migraine days per month) and is being studied in pediatric participants between the ages of 6 and 17 with a history of episodic migraine. This is a Phase 3, randomized, double-blind study of atogepant in participants with a history of episodic migraine with an open-label pharmacokinetic substudy. Eligible participants will be randomized into 6 different groups. Participants between the ages of 12 and 17 will be randomized to receive placebo, low-dose atogepant, or high-dose atogepant for 12 weeks. Participants between the ages of 6 and 11 will also be randomized to receive placebo, low-dose atogepant, or high-dose atogepant for 12 weeks. The specific atogepant doses to be used in participants between the ages of 6 and 11 will be determined after the PK substudy is complete. Around 450 participants will be enrolled in approximately 100 sites worldwide. Placebo, low-dose atogepant, and high-dose atogepant are given as a tablet to take by mouth once a day. At the end of Week 12, participants will either undergo a follow-up visit 4 weeks after last study treatment or join an extension study where they can continue to receive atogepant for another 52 weeks. There may be a bigger responsibility for participants in this study. Participants will attend regular visits during the study at a hospital or clinic. This double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled, multinational, multicenter, parallel-group, Phase 3, 2-arm, study will investigate the efficacy and safety of belumosudil compared with placebo, both administered on top of azithromycin and standard-of-care regimen of immunosuppression in male or female participants at least 1 year after bilateral lung transplant, who are at least 18 years of age and who have evidence of progressive CLAD despite azithromycin therapy. Study details include: The study duration will be up to 31 weeks for participants not entering the open-label extension (OLE) period and up to 57 weeks for participants entering the OLE period but not the long-term OLE. The treatment duration will be up to 26 weeks for participants not entering the OLE period and up to 52 weeks for participants entering the OLE period but not the long-term OLE. The number of visits will be up to 10 visits for participants not entering the OLE period and up to 16 visits for participants entering the OLE period but not the long-term OLE. For participants who enter the long-term OLE, treatment and study participation will continue with visits every 12 weeks per protocol specifications. Read Less

This project aims to collect detailed clinical data, blood samples, and patient-reported outcomes from 2,600 lung transplant candidates, donors, and recipients at Lung Transplant Centers. The goal is to create a robust resource for various research objectives, including studying the impact of variations in donor and medical practices on clinical outcomes. The project also seeks to identify serum biomarkers associated with or predictive of specific post-transplant complications and conditions. Read Less

This will be a prospective cohort study of patients with liver disease. Subjects will undergo geriatric assessments of frailty, functional status, and disability using functional status measures at baseline and at every clinic visit in the pre-transplant setting. Subjects will also answer questions regarding quality of life, personality, and/or cognitive function. Subjects will again undergo assessments at every clinic visit through 12 months after transplant. Then, they will be followed annually. Read Less
