Fluorodeoxyglucose (FDG)-positron emission tomography (PET)/computed tomography (CT) has been demonstrated to outperform other imaging modalities such as CT and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) for the detection of metastatic cancers. Therefore, it is currently used for cancer staging, re-staging, and for monitoring response to therapy for many types of cancers. Despite its wide use and success, the diagnostic accuracy of FDG-PET/CT is suboptimal for lesions that are significantly smaller than 1 cm due primarily to limitations on image resolution and system sensitivity. The investigators have developed an Augmented Whole-body Scanning via Magnifying PET (AWSM-PET) technology that can improve the image resolution and system sensitivity of current and future PET/CT scanners. This study will evaluate preliminarily whether the AWSM-PET/CT technology can provide additional high-resolution PET/CT images displayed concurrently with the standard of care FDG-PET/CT images to improve overall accuracy in depicting malignant lesions in cancer patients. The development of stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT) for the treatment of stage I non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) has inspired a close partnership between thoracic surgery and radiation oncology. In this study, patients with stage I NSCLC will be screened prior to treatment and will be consented after their treatment plan has been determined. Esophageal cancer is a deadly disease that is becoming increasingly common in the United States. Barrett's esophagus (BE) is a pre-cancerous state that can develop into esophageal cancer, but is highly treatable. Progression of BE to esophageal cancer is still common due to missed diagnosis of Barrett's esophagus recurrence following treatment. Wide-Area Trans-Epithelial Sampling (WATS-3D) is a new technology that uses brush sampling to examine larger areas of the esophagus as compared to conventional biopsies. Preliminary studies show improved detection of cancerous changes in Barrett's esophagus surveillance. The investigators hope to see if the addition of WATS-3D increases the rate of detection of recurrent BE following treatment, which is of the utmost importance since it would allow for earlier re-treatment of disease and ultimately allow for prevention of progression to esophageal cancer. NRF2 activation, observed in up to 40% of head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC) tumors, plays a critical role in tumor progression, metastasis, and radiation therapy resistance. The investigators have recently discovered that pyrimethamine (PYR) and its analogs have an inhibitory effect on NRF2 activity in vitro and in mouse models via inhibition of dihydrofolate reductase (DHFR). Pyrimethamine is an established drug that has been used for decades for treatment of protozoan infections and malaria. A growing body of research shows that it has potential antitumor activity, however its activity on growing human tumors has not been previously studied. The primary efficacy goal of this study is to evaluate the activity of pyrimethamine on human tumors as demonstrated by inhibition of DHFR and downregulation of NRF2 pathway activity. On-target inhibition of DHFR by pyrimethamine results in the stabilization and increased protein expression of human DHFR. The primary efficacy hypothesis of this study is that treatment with pyrimethamine will result in a 50% increase in DHFR protein within the tumor cells as measured by quantitative western blot analysis. Secondarily, among those tumors classified as NRF2-active on pre-treatment biopsy, the investigators hypothesize there will be a 50% reduction in NRF2 activity as measured by SureQuant targeted proteomic analysis. This study is designed to see if we can lower the chance of side effects from radiation in patients with breast, kidney, small cell lung cancer, non-small cell lung cancer or melanoma that has spread to the brain and who are also being treated with immunotherapy, specifically immune checkpoint inhibitor (ICI) therapy. This study will compare the usual care treatment of single fraction stereotactic radiosurgery (SSRS) given on one day versus fractionated stereotactic radiosurgery (FSRS), which is a lower dose of radiation given over a few days to determine if FSRS is better or worse at reducing side effects than usual care treatment. This phase III trial studies how well bupropion works in reducing cancer related fatigue in cancer survivors. Bupropion is a drug that is used to treat depression, as well as to help people quit smoking. Cancer and its treatment can cause fatigue.
