A Study of MRI-guided High-dose Radiation Therapy in Prostate Cancer
Recruiting
One of the usual approaches to treating intermediate-risk prostate cancer is a type of radiation therapy called SBRT (stereotactic body radiation therapy). SBRT delivers higher than standard doses of radiation over a lower number of treatment sessions. However, there is a 20% chance that intermediate-risk prostate cancer will come back after this treatment. The purpose of this study is to find out whether giving an even higher dose (a "boost" dose) of radiation directly to the main tumor and the... Read More

A Study of Lorlatinib in Combination With Ramucirumab in People With Lung Cancer
Recruiting
This study will test the safety of the combination of ramucirumab and lorlatinib. The researchers will test one or two different doses of lorlatinib in combination with ramucirumab to find the drug combination dose that causes few or mild side effects in participants. Once the researchers find this dose, they can test it in future participants to see if it is effective in treating their metastatic ALK-rearranged NSCLC. The researchers are also looking to see whether there are specific genes or D... Read More

Tissue Analysis After Thermal Ablation for Colon Cancer Liver Metastases Leading to Immediate Retreatment
Recruiting
This study will see whether collecting and analyzing needle biopsy samples from colon cancer liver metastases (CLM) after a thermal ablation procedure will be able to identify cancer cells that are still alive. The results of these biopsies could help determine the next treatment for your cancer, but the biopsies could cause side effects.

Standard Systemic Therapy With or Without Definitive Treatment in Treating Participants With Metastatic Prostate Cancer
Recruiting
This phase III trial studies how well standard systemic therapy with or without definitive treatment (prostate removal surgery or radiation therapy) works in treating participants with prostate cancer that has spread to other places in the body. Addition of prostate removal surgery or radiation therapy to standard systemic therapy for prostate cancer may lower the chance of the cancer growing or spreading.

A Study of miRNA 371 in Patients With Germ Cell Tumors
Recruiting
This trial studies whether the blood marker micro ribonucleic acid (miRNA) 371 can predict the chance of cancer returning in patients with germ cell cancers. Studying samples of blood from patients with germ cell cancers in the laboratory may help doctors predict how likely the cancer will come back.

Comparing the Outcome of Immunotherapy-Based Drug Combination Therapy With or Without Surgery to Remove the Kidney in Metastatic Kidney Cancer, the PROBE Trial
Recruiting
This phase III trial compares the effect of adding surgery to a standard of care immunotherapy-based drug combination versus a standard of care immunotherapy-based drug combination alone in treating patients with kidney cancer that has spread to other places in the body (metastatic). Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as nivolumab, ipilimumab, pembrolizumab, and avelumab, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow an... Testing Sacituzumab Govitecan Therapy in Patients With HER2-Negative Breast Cancer and Brain Metastases
Recruiting
This phase II trial studies the effect of sacituzumab govitecan in treating patients with HER2-negative breast cancer that has spread to the brain (brain metastases). Sacituzumab govitecan is a monoclonal antibody, called sacituzumab, linked to a chemotherapy drug, called govitecan. Sacituzumab is a form of targeted therapy because it attaches to specific molecules on the surface of cancer cells, known as Trop-2 receptors, and delivers govitecan to kill them. Giving sacituzumab govitecan may shr... Read More

Fluorescence Imaging of Carcinoma During Breast Conserving Surgery
Recruiting
Breast conserving surgery (BCS) is performed on patients with breast cancer to resect and completely remove the cancer while conserving as much of the surrounding healthy tissue as possible. Current methods do not allow surgeons to determine the completeness of surgical resection in real-time. This often results in the need for a second surgical procedure, or in some cases more than two surgical procedures in order to have confidence that all cancer has been removed.
This Phase 3 study will eva... Read More
