This study will test whether limiting standard photon intensity modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) to exclude the oral tongue surgical site can decrease the risk of side effects caused by oral radiation. This is a Phase 1b, randomized, placebo/vehicle-controlled, double-blinded, multi-center trial. It is designed to assess the safety and efficacy of S. hominis A9 (ShA9) topical application as a treatment for atopic dermatitis (AD). The trial will enroll adults and adolescents with atopic dermatitis who are culture positive for S. aureus colonization. The primary safety objective of this study is to compare the safety profile of ShA9 to placebo (vehicle) over 14 weeks of application, which includes an initial two-week period of co-treatment with topical corticosteroids (TCS). The primary efficacy objective of this study is to assess the ability of ShA9, compared to placebo (vehicle), to prolong the period of atopic dermatitis control over 12 weeks after conclusion of an initial two-week period of co-treatment with TCS. Children with speech sound disorder show diminished intelligibility in spoken communication and may thus be perceived as less capable than peers, with negative consequences for both socioemotional and socioeconomic outcomes. New technologies have the potential to transform interventions for speech sound disorder, but there is a lack of rigorous evidence to substantiate this promise. This research will meet a public health need by systematically evaluating the efficacy of visual-acoustic biofeedback intervention delivered in-person versus via telepractice. The objective of this study is to test the hypothesis that treatment incorporating visual-acoustic biofeedback can be delivered via telepractice without a significant loss of efficacy. Participants will be randomly assigned to receive identical treatment either via online telepractice or in the laboratory setting. The same software for visual-acoustic biofeedback, staRt, will be used in both conditions. Participants' progress in treatment will be evaluated based on blinded listeners' perceptual ratings of probes produced before and after treatment. The goal of this study is to extend the efficacy evidence of sustained release methylphenidate compound (JornayPM) in adults with Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). JornayPM has recently been approved for treatment of patients 6 years and older with ADHD; the release mechanism is unique among ADHD products in that it is taken in the evening, with effects in the morning upon awakening and then throughout the subsequent day. Of note, to date, there is no clinical data as to the tolerability or clinical effects or dosing in adults with ADHD; therefore the primary aim of this trial is to gather the first set of these data. The researchers are doing this study to find out whether a very low dose of radiation therapy (VLDRT) is an effective treatment for people with follicular lymphoma (FL) or marginal zone lymphoma (MZL) and works as well as the standard dose of radiation therapy. The researchers will see if VLDRT works against cancer in the area that is currently affected by cancer and if the therapy prevents new spots of lymphoma from developing. The researchers will also compare VLDRT with the standard dose of radiation therapy to see if VLDRT causes fewer side effects. Radiation therapy uses beams of intense energy to kill cancer cells. Standard doses of radiation therapy can cause short- and long-term side effects. Researchers think VLDRT may be as effective as standard doses, and, because VLDRT uses less radiation, researchers think VLDRT may cause fewer side effects than standard doses. Read Less

Most physicians still use a one-size-fits-all approach to breast screening in which all women, regardless of their personal history, family history or genetics (except BRCA carriers) are recommended to have annual mammograms starting at age 40. Mammograms benefit women by detecting cancers early when they are easier to treat, but they are not perfect. Recent news stories have discussed some of the potential harms: large numbers of positive results that cause stressful recalls for additional mammograms and biopsies. With the current screening approach, half of the women who undergo annual screening for ten years will have at least one false positive biopsy. Potentially more important are cancer diagnoses for growths that might never come to clinical attention if left alone (called "overdiagnosis"). This can lead to unnecessary treatment. Even more concerning is evidence that up to 20% of breast cancers detected today may fall into the category of "overdiagnosis." This study compares annual screening with a risk-based breast cancer screening schedule, based upon each woman's personal risk of breast cancer. The investigators have designed the study to be inclusive of all, so that even women who might be nervous about being randomly assigned to receive a particular type of care (a procedure that is typical in clinical studies) will still be able to participate by choosing the type of care they receive. For participants in the risk-based screening arm, each woman will receive a personal risk assessment that includes her family and medical history, breast density measurement and tests for genes (mutations and variations) linked to the development of breast cancer. Women who have the highest personal risk of developing breast cancer will receive more frequent screening, while women with a lower personal risk would receive less frequent screening. No woman will be screened less than is recommended by the USPSTF breast cancer screening guidelines. If this study is successful, women will gain a realistic understanding of their personal risk of breast cancer as well as strategies to reduce their risk, and fewer women will suffer from the anxiety of false positive mammograms and unnecessary biopsies. TScan Therapeutics is developing cellular therapies across multiple solid tumors in which autologous T cells are engineered to express a T cell receptor that recognizes tumor-associated antigens presented on specific Human Leukocyte Antigen (HLA) molecules. The purpose of this screening study is to collect samples to conduct HLA genotyping, HLA Loss of Heterozygosity (LOH) assessment, and expression of Tumor-associated Antigens (TAA) testing. This is a randomized, open-label study in adult patients who have completed standard first line therapy for large B-cell lymphoma (LBCL) and achieved a complete response or partial response suitable for observation, but who have minimal residual disease (MRD) as detected by the Foresight CLARITY™ Investigational Use Only (IUO) MRD test, powered by PhasED-Seq™. The purpose of the trial is to assess the efficacy and safety of consolidation with cemacabtagene ansegedleucel (cema-cel), an allogeneic CD19 CAR T product, as compared to standard of care observation. The study is conducted in 2 consecutive parts that will be enrolled continuously. In Part A of the study, participants with MRD are randomized to one of two treatment arms or an observation arm. Treatment includes cema-cel following a lymphodepletion regimen of fludarabine and cyclophosphamide administered with or without the anti-CD52 monoclonal antibody, ALLO-647. Part A will culminate with the selection of the lymphodepletion regimen to advance to Part B. Part B will evaluate the selected lymphodepletion regimen followed by cema-cel as compared with observation. Read Less
