GEMINI NSCLC Study is a non-interventional study that will be collecting clinical and molecular health information from patients with NSCLC who will receive longitudinal blood collection in addition to their standard of care therapy and disease surveillance with the goals of identifying the molecular evolution of lung cancer with standard of care therapy, and determining the utility of ctDNA dynamics to predict risk of recurrence and therapeutic outcomes. This study will consist of a Phase 1b and Phase 2 portion. The Phase 1b portion will enroll first followed by the Phase 2 portion. Each cycle of treatment = 28 days. Subjects will receive alectinib twice daily. Those in the Phase 1b portion will receive alectinib alone. Those in Phase 2 Arm A will receive alectinib alone. Those in Phase 2, Arm B will receive SRS + alectinib. A maximum of 25 cycles (2 years) of alectinib may be administered on study. Read Less

This phase II trial studies the effects of temozolomide and atezolizumab as second or third line treatment for patients with small cell lung cancer that has spread to other places in the body (metastatic) or has come back (recurrent). Chemotherapy drugs, such as temozolomide, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as atezolizumab, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. All-trans retinoic acid (ATRA) is made in the body from vitamin A and helps cells to grow and develop. Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as atezolizumab, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. This screening and multi-sub-study randomized phase II/III trial will establish a method for genomic screening of similar large cancer populations followed by assigning and accruing simultaneously to a multi-sub-study hybrid Master Protocol (Lung-MAP). The type of cancer trait (biomarker) will determine to which sub-study, within this protocol, a participant will be assigned to compare new targeted cancer therapy, designed to block the growth and spread of cancer, or combinations to standard of care therapy with the ultimate goal of being able to approve new targeted therapies in this setting.
