Lymphoma Paid Clinical Trials in Ohio

Primary objective is to assess the anti-tumor activity of single agent odronextamab as measured by the objective response rate (ORR) according to the Lugano Classification of response in malignant lymphoma (Cheson, 2014) and as assessed by independent central review in each of the following B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma (B-NHL) subgroups: In patients with follicular lymphoma (FL) grade 1-3a *1,2 In patients with diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) *1,2 In patients with mantle cell lymphoma (MCL) that has relapsed after or is refractory to a BTK inhibitor. This cohort will also include patients who have relapsed or have disease refractory to prior systemic therapy, or patients who have demonstrated intolerance to BTK inhibitor therapy, and who have progressed after other systemic therapy. As the average age of individuals undergoing stem cell transplant continues to increase, challenges associated with balancing the side effects of cancer treatments while also managing other medical conditions develop. Studies have shown these individuals develop more treatment related side effects and take longer to leave the hospital due to complications. The purpose of this study is to develop a multiple provider clinic that will help identify any additional needs in the more complicated and generally older transplant patient population. If needed, this clinic will recommend interventions or referrals to the appropriate specialties to the participant and the transplant physician for the participant before your transplant procedure. Examples of potential areas of improvement include a course of physical therapy, nutritional supplements, or modifications of medications, among others with the goal to make your transplant safer and to decrease length of time in the hospital. This phase I trial tests the safety, side effects and best dose of CC-99282 with rituximab for the treatment of patients who have received chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T cell therapy for non-Hodgkins lymphoma and in whom have had a sub-optimal response early on to CAR T-cell therapy. Immunotherapy with CC-99282 may induce changes in the body's immune system and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Rituximab is a monoclonal antibody. It binds to a protein called CD20, which is found on B cells (a type of white blood cell) and some types of cancer cells. This may help the immune system kill cancer cells. Giving CC-99282 with rituximab may be a safe and effective treatment option for patients who have received CAR-T cell therapy for relapsed or refractory non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. Read Less

This phase I trial studies the side effects and best dose of nivolumab when given with ipilimumab in treating patients with human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) associated classical Hodgkin lymphoma that has returned after a period of improvement (relapsed) or does not respond to treatment (refractory), or solid tumors that have spread from where it first started to other places in the body (metastatic) or cannot be removed by surgery (unresectable). Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as ipilimumab and nivolumab, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Ipilimumab is an antibody that acts against a molecule called cytotoxic T-lymphocyte antigen 4 (CTLA-4). CTLA-4 controls a part of the immune system by shutting it down. Nivolumab is a type of antibody that is specific for human programmed cell death 1 (PD-1), a protein that is responsible for destruction of immune cells. Giving ipilimumab with nivolumab may work better in treating patients with HIV associated classical Hodgkin lymphoma or solid tumors compared to ipilimumab with nivolumab alone. Read Less

This phase Ib trial seeks to find out the best dose and possible side effects and/or benefits of zanubrutinib in combination with the R-CHOP in treating patients with newly diagnosed diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL). Zanubrutinib is designed to block a protein called Bruton Tyrosine Kinase in order to stop cancer growth. R-CHOP is the acronym for the combination of five drugs: rituximab, cyclophosphamide, doxorubicin, vincristine and prednisone. It is the most widely used chemoimmunotherapy regimen for DLBCL and is considered the standard-of-care treatment for patients with DLBCL. This phase II trial tests whether acalabrutinib in combination with venetoclax or obinutuzumab works to shrink tumors in patients with treatment-naive chronic lymphocytic leukemia . Acalabrutinib is also an inhibitor that works in the body to block the activation of certain cells that lead to the growth of cancerous B cells. Venetoclax is in a class of medications called B-cell lymphoma-2 (BCL-2) inhibitors. It may stop the growth of cancer cells by blocking Bcl-2, a protein needed for cancer cell survival. Obinutuzumab is a monoclonal antibody that may interfere with the ability of cancer cells to grow and spread. Giving acalabrutinib in combination with venetoclax or obinutuzumab may help ease symptoms, decrease the amount of cancer suggestive of improvement, prolonged disease-free remission and/or survival, and increased knowledge about cancer treatment in patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia. Patients will be treated with acalabrutinib for 12 cycles, and then randomized to receive 6 cycles of acalabrutinib plus obinutuzumab or acalabrutinib plus venetoclax. Read Less

This phase II trial tests how well zanubrutinib and lisocabtagene maraleucel (liso-cel) work together in treating patients with Richter's syndrome. Richter's syndrome occurs when chronic lymphocytic leukemia and/or small lymphocytic leukemia transforms into an aggressive lymphoma, which is a cancer of the lymph nodes. Zanubrutinib is a class of medication called a kinase inhibitor. These drugs work by preventing the action of abnormal proteins that tell cancer cells to multiply, which helps stop the spread of cancer. Liso-cel is a type of treatment known as chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T cell therapy. CAR T-cell therapy is a type of treatment in which a patient's T cells (a type of immune system cell) are changed in the laboratory so they will attack cancer cells. T cells are taken from a patient's blood. Then the gene for a special receptor that binds to a certain protein on the patient's cancer cells is added to the T cells in the laboratory. The special receptor is called a chimeric antigen receptor (CAR). Large numbers of the CAR T cells are grown in the laboratory and given to the patient by infusion for treatment of certain cancers.
