This study investigates the impact of COVID-19 pandemic on out-of-pocket costs, lost wages, and unemployment in patients with breast cancer undergoing breast surgery. Post-mastectomy reconstructive patients are at high risk for financial toxicity (adverse effects of escalating health care cost on well-being). The goal of this study is to collect information about financial costs patients may have as a result of surgical treatment for cancer with or without breast reconstruction and to learn if COVID-19 affects patient costs of breast reconstruction. This may help researchers demonstrate the financial consequences of undergoing breast surgery. Read Less

This phase III trial compares three-drug induction regimens followed by double-or single-drug maintenance therapy for the treatment of newly diagnosed multiple myeloma in patients who are not receiving a stem cell transplant and are considered frail or intermediate-fit based on age, comorbidities, and functional status. Treatment for multiple myeloma includes initial treatment (induction) which is the first treatment a patient receives for cancer followed by ongoing treatment (maintenance) which is given after initial treatment to help keep the cancer from coming back. There are three combinations of four different drugs being studied. Bortezomib is one of the drugs that may stop the growth of cancer cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Lenalidomide works by helping bone marrow to produce normal blood cells and killing cancer cells. Anti-inflammatory drugs, such as dexamethasone, lower the body's immune response and are used with other drugs in the treatment of some types of cancer. Daratumumab and hyaluronidase-fihj is a monoclonal antibody that may interfere with the ability of cancer cells to grow and spread. Patients receive 1 of 3 combinations of these drugs for treatment to determine which combination of study drugs works better to shrink and control multiple myeloma. Read Less

The purpose of this clinical trial is to learn about the safety and effects of the study medicine (called ARV-471) when given together with other medicines for the potential treatment of advanced or metastatic breast cancer. This study is seeking participants who have breast cancer that: is advanced, may have spread to other organs (metastatic) and cannot be fully treated by surgery or radiation therapy is sensitive to hormonal therapy (it is called estrogen receptor positive); and is no longer responding to previous treatments This study is divided into separate sub-studies. For Sub-Study B: All participants will receive ARV-471 and a medicine called ribociclib. ARV-471 and ribociclib will be given at the same time by mouth, at home, 1 time a day. The experiences of people receiving the study medicine will be examined. This will help determine if the study medicine is safe and effective. Participants will continue to take ARV-471 and ribociclib until their cancer is no longer responding, or side effects become too severe. They will have visits at the study clinic about every 4 weeks. The purpose of this study is to learn about the safety and effects of sisunatovir. Sisunatovir is studied for the possible treatment of Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV). RSV is a virus that causes lung infections with cold-like symptoms, but it can cause severe illness in some people. Sisunatovir is studied in adults: who are not admitted to the hospital and who have high chances of having a severe illness from RSV infection. This study is seeking participants who: Are confirmed to have RSV. Have symptoms of a lung infection. Are 18 years of age or older. Have one or more of the following which increases the chances of RSV illness: A long-term lung disease. heart failure. a condition that weakens the immune system. Are 65 years of age or older and do not have any of the conditions above Half of the participants in this study will receive sisunatovir. The other half will receive a placebo for 5 days. Placebo looks same like the study medicine but does not have any medication. Both sisunatovir and placebo will be taken by mouth. The study will compare the experiences of people receiving sisunatovir to those of the people who do not. This will help decide if sisunatovir is safe and effective. Participants will attend about 8-10 study visits over 5 weeks. During this time, they will have: visits at the study clinic, blood work, swabs of the nose, questionnaires, a follow-up phone call. This phase III trial studies how well nivolumab and ipilimumab works with or without local consolidation therapy in treating patients with stage IV non-small cell lung cancer. Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as nivolumab and ipilimumab, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Local consolidation therapy, such as surgery or radiation therapy, may improve survival outcomes in patients with non-small cell lung cancer. It is not yet known whether giving nivolumab and ipilimumab with local consolidation therapy works better than nivolumab and ipilimumab alone in treating patients with stage IV non-small cell lung cancer. This phase II trial studies how well multiparametric magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) works in evaluating cancer stage and helping treatment planning in patients with prostate cancer. Multiparametric MRI may be useful for evaluating the type of cancer in finding aggressive disease. Read Less

This phase III trial studies magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) surveillance and prophylactic cranial irradiation (PCI) to see how well they work compared to MRI surveillance alone in treating patients with small cell lung cancer. MRI scans are used to monitor the possible spread of the cancer with an MRI machine over time. PCI is radiation therapy that is delivered to the brain in hopes of preventing spread of cancer into the brain. The use of brain MRI alone may reduce side effects of receiving PCI and prolong patients' lifespan. Monitoring with MRI scans alone (delaying radiation until the actual spread of the cancer) may be at least as good as the combination of PCI with MRI scans. Read Less

The study will be conducted in the United States, Canada, Netherlands, Finland, Argentina, Japan and South Africa. Substudy A: This study is an extension of the efficacy study and was designed to evaluate the safety and immunogenicity of a second dose of RSVpreF when administered after a dosing interval of approximately 2 years: At a dose of 120µg (as studied in the Phase 3 Efficacy Study) Blood samples will be collected for antibody testing. The duration of the study for each participant will be up to approximately 18 months. The study will be conducted in the United States and Argentina. This prospective longitudinal study will compare incidence rates of Medicare beneficiary surgical and minimally invasive intervention post index procedure, as well as harms associated with the MILD procedure, at 24 months post-treatment with MILD, tested against a control group of similar patients that have had a comparable procedure. The purpose of this project is to examine the feasibility/acceptability of a one-day Acceptance and Commitment Therapy + Lifestyle Education group intervention paired with 12-weeks of Continuous Glucose Monitoring for patients with type 2 diabetes (T2D) living in rural communities. This study is being designed as a randomized control trial (RCT) comparing ACT+LE+CGM to LE+CGM to LE. The ultimate goal of this line of research is that a community-wide intervention of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) with Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) and Lifestyle Education (LE) will improve T2D outcomes in rural communities compared to CGM and LE, or LE alone. Our goal is to develop a scalable and sustainable program for diabetes management in rural areas that enables individual self-management and does not require extensive healthcare resources in an existing medical desert. The phase III trial compares the effect of pembrolizumab to observation for the treatment of patients with early-stage triple-negative breast cancer who achieved a pathologic complete response after preoperative chemotherapy in combination with pembrolizumab. Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as pembrolizumab, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. This trial may help researchers determine if observation will result in the same risk of cancer coming back as pembrolizumab after surgery in triple-negative breast cancer patients who achieve pathologic complete response after preoperative chemotherapy with pembrolizumab.
