The study is testing a new study medicine to treat people living with overweight or obesity. The aim of this study is to see if the medicine is safe, how it works in your body, and what your body does to the study medicine. Participants will either get the study medicine or placebo (a "dummy medicine" similar to the study medicine but without active ingredients) given as an injection under your skin. The SMR Stemless Reverse is intended for total, primary shoulder joint replacement by reducing pain and restoring shoulder articular mobility function. This is a prospective, multi-center, randomized, controlled trial to demonstrate non-inferiority of the SMR Stemless Reverse to the SMR Reverse Shoulder System. Patients with joint dysfunction who continue to experience significant symptoms despite an appropriate course of non-operative management are eligible. Patients will be considered enrolled into the study when an ICF has been signed, all inclusion criteria are met and no exclusion criteria are present including intraoperative exclusion criteria, and the patient is randomized into either the SMR Stemless Reverse (investigational) group, the SMR Reverse Shoulder System (control) group or is part of the roll-in population. This study is conducted to compare the safety and effectiveness of a novel short 6-week regimen of daily rifapentine (6wP, experimental arm) with a comparator arm of 12-16 weeks of rifamycin-based treatment (standard of care, control arm) of latent M. tuberculosis infection (LTBI). This trial is conducted among persons who are at increased risk of progression to tuberculosis (TB) and require treatment of LTBI. The study will be conducted in low, medium and high TB incidence settings that have treatment of LTBI as their standard of care and offer 12-16 week rifamycin-based therapy as standard of care. The hypothesis of this study is that the safety and effectiveness of the experimental treatment (6wP arm) is non-inferior to a comparator arm of 12-16 weeks of rifamycin-based treatment of LTBI (control arm). Participants are enrolled and randomly assigned to one of the two study arms: experimental 6wP or control. The comparator (control) arm's treatment regimens include 12 weeks of once-weekly isoniazid (INH) and rifapentine (3HP), 12 weeks of daily INH and rifampin (3HR), and 16 weeks of daily rifampin (4R). A total of 560 participants per arm (1,120 total) for the evaluation of safety and 1,700 participants per arm (3,400 total) for the evaluation of effectiveness will be enrolled, given treatment as per randomization assignment, and followed for 24 months from the date of enrollment. After completion of data collection, statistical analyses will be conducted to compare proportions of drug discontinuation due to adverse drug reaction (ADR) and proportions of newly diagnosed tuberculosis between 6wP and control arm. This is a First-in-Human, Phase 1, Dose-Escalation and Dose-Expansion study of BH3120, as a single agent and in combination with pembrolizumab, to assess safety, tolerability, MTD, RP2D, PK, and efficacy in patients with advanced or metastatic solid tumors. The goal of this clinical trial is to prove the that miconazole oil works well on fungal infections of the ears, by comparing the drug with a placebo. The researcher or the participants will not know if they are getting the drug or the placebo. The researcher will show the participants how to use the drug or placebo. After 14 days of using the drug or placebo, the participants will be examined by the researcher and graded on how well the drug worked on the ear(s) fungal infection. Pheochromocytomas and paragangliomas are neural crest-derived tumors of the nervous system that are often inherited and genetically heterogeneous. Genetic screening is recommended for patients and their relatives, and can guide clinical decisions. However, a mutation is not found in all cases. The aims of this proposal are to: 1) to map gene(s) involved in pheochromocytoma, and 2) identify genotype-phenotype correlations in patients with pheochromocytoma/paraganglioma of various genetic origins. Following the removal of a tooth, a bone graft is often placed in the socket to try to maintain the volume of bone that was there when the tooth was present so that the bone does not "shrink". The bone graft is kept in place with a small piece of material over the top of the tooth socket and with stitches. This procedure is called "Ridge Preservation". Many different materials are used for ridge preservation, including bone allografts (bone grafts derived from a human tissue donor). These bone allografts are dehydrated (dried) during processing. Before using the material in the socket, the material is re-hydrated (wetted). The most common hydrating (wetting) agent is normal saline (sterile salt water), but other hydrating agents such as blood can also be used. The bone allograft used in this study is Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved. Read Less
