Nivolumab in Combination With Ipilimumab (Part 1); Nivolumab Plus Ipilimumab in Combination With Chemotherapy (Part 2) as First Line Therapy in Stage IV Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer
Completed
The purpose of part 1 of this study is to determine the objective response rate (ORR) in stage IV NSCLC subjects treated with nivolumab in combination with ipilimumab as first line therapy. Radiation Therapy With or Without Cisplatin in Treating Patients With Recurrent Endometrial Cancer
Unknown
This randomized phase II trial studies radiation therapy and cisplatin to see how well they work compared with radiation therapy alone in treating patients with endometrial cancer that has come back. Radiation therapy uses high-energy x-rays and other types of radiation to kill tumor cells. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as cisplatin, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. It is... Read More

A Study of Atezolizumab (MPDL3280A) Compared With a Platinum Agent (Cisplatin or Carboplatin) + (Pemetrexed or Gemcitabine) in Participants With Stage IV Non-Squamous or Squamous Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC) [IMpower110]
Completed
This randomized, open-label study will evaluate the efficacy and safety of atezolizumab compared with chemotherapy consisting of a platinum agent (cisplatin or carboplatin per investigator discretion) combined with either pemetrexed (non-squamous disease) or gemcitabine (squamous disease) in programmed death-ligand 1 (PD-L1)-selected, chemotherapy-naive participants with Stage IV Non-Squamous or Squamous NSCLC.

A Trial of Concurrent Radiation Therapy, Cisplatin, and BMX-001 in Locally Advanced Head and Neck Cancer
Completed
This is a Phase 1 / Phase 2 study of newly diagnosed patients with biopsy-proven head and neck cancer (squamous cell carcinoma) who are undergoing standard radiation therapy and treatment with cisplatin. BMX-001 added to radiation therapy and cisplatin is expected to reduce radiation-induced mucositis and xerostomia and also has the potential to benefit the survival of head and neck cancer patients. In Phase 1, safety and tolerability of BMX-001 will be assessed using a Continual Reassessment Me... Read More

Stereotactic Body Radiotherapy and Concurrent Cisplatin for Re-Irradiation of Unresectable, Recurrent Squamous Cell Carcinomas of Head and Neck
Completed
This study involves another course of radiation (called re-irradiation) to the participant's tumor. The type of radiation is called stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT). The purpose of this study is to compare the effects, good and/or bad, of different doses of SBRT given along with the chemotherapy drug, cisplatin. The researchers want to see which dose of radiation will work best in controlling the growth of head/neck cancer. The usual treatment for head/neck cancer that has grown is sur... Read More

Avelumab in Combination With Fluorouracil and Mitomycin or Cisplatin and Radiation Therapy in Treating Participants With Muscle-Invasive Bladder Cancer
Completed
This phase II trial studies the side effects of avelumab and how well it works in combination with fluorouracil and mitomycin or cisplatin and radiation therapy in treating participants with muscle-invasive bladder cancer. Monoclonal antibodies, such as avelumab, may interfere with the ability of cancer cells to grow and spread. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as fluorouracil, mitomycin, and cisplatin, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by sto... Read More
