Specialized radiation therapy that delivers a high dose of radiation directly to the tumor may kill more tumor cells and cause less damage to normal tissue. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as cisplatin and docetaxel, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells or by stopping them from dividing. Cetuximab is a monoclonal antibody that may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as atezolizumab, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. The purpose of this study is to compare the usual treatment (radiation therapy with cisplatin chemotherapy) to using radiation therapy with docetaxel and cetuximab chemotherapy, and using the usual treatment plus an immunotherapy drug, atezolizumab. The purpose of this study is to determine if soy supplementation during chemotherapy and radiation therapy will decrease side effects caused by treatment. Long-lasting dry mouth is a side effect of the standard treatment, and we are testing whether soy supplementation during treatment may reduce this symptom and other side effects of chemoradiation. Chemotherapy given together is a standard way to treat your cancer. One standard treatment includes a combination of docetaxel, cisplatin, and fluorouracil. However, the original combination of these three drugs can cause many side effects. This study is being done to find out if these three drugs can be given at lower doses more often, with fewer side effects and still maintain the same benefit as the standard way of giving this three drug combination. If your tumor overexpresses a protein called Her2, you are also eligible to receive trastuzumab with chemotherapy. Trastuzumab is a medicine that has been approved by the US Food and Drug Administration for the treatment of Her2 positive breast cancer. Trastuzumab is now also a standard treatment in combination with chemotherapy for the treatment of Her2 positive stomach cancer. If your tumor is Her2 positive, you would receive the modified administration schedule of docetaxel, cisplatin, and fluorouracil with trastuzumab. Read Less

The purpose of this study is to see if a combination of paclitaxel protein bound (also known as nab-paclitaxel), gemcitabine, and cisplatin when given with high dose Ascorbic Acid will be safe and effective in individuals with untreated metastatic pancreatic cancer. Vitamin C is a nutrient found in food and dietary supplements. It protects cells and also plays a key role in making collagen (which provides strength and structure to skin, bones, tissues and tendons). High-dose vitamin C may be given by intravenous (IV) infusion (through a vein into the bloodstream) or orally (taken by mouth). When taken by intravenous infusion, vitamin C can reach much higher levels in the blood than when the same amount is taken by mouth. Some human studies of high-dose IV vitamin C in patients with cancer have shown improved quality of life, as well as improvements in physical, mental, and emotional functions, symptoms of fatigue, nausea and vomiting, pain, and appetite loss.
