Gemcitabine and Cisplatin Without Cystectomy for Patients With Muscle Invasive Bladder Urothelial Cancer and Select Genetic Alterations
Recruiting
This phase II trial studies how well gemcitabine hydrochloride and cisplatin work in treating participants with invasive bladder urothelial cancer. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as gemcitabine hydrochloride and cisplatin, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading.

Cisplatin/Carboplatin and Etoposide With or Without Nivolumab in Treating Patients With Extensive Stage Small Cell Lung Cancer
Completed
This randomized phase II clinical trial studies whether the addition of nivolumab to cisplatin (or carboplatin) and etoposide will improve outcomes when treating patients with extensive stage small cell lung cancer. Chemotherapy drugs, such as cisplatin, carboplatin, and etoposide, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as nivolumab, m... Read More

Testing the Addition of M6620 (VX-970, Berzosertib) to Usual Chemotherapy and Radiation for Head and Neck Cancer
Active Not Recruiting
This phase I trial studies the side effects and best dose of berzosertib (M6620) when given together with cisplatin and radiation therapy in treating patients with head and neck squamous cell carcinoma that has spread from where it started to nearby tissue or lymph nodes (locally advanced). M6620 may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Chemotherapy drugs, such as cisplatin, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by kill... Read More
