This phase II trial studies how well gemcitabine, cisplatin, and nab-paclitaxel work before surgery in treating participants with high-risk bile duct cancer in the liver (intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma). The goal of this clinical research study is to find the highest tolerable dose of paclitaxel that can be given as hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy (HIPEC) to patients with gastric or gastroesophageal cancer.
