Risk-Based Therapy in Treating Younger Patients With Newly Diagnosed Liver Cancer
Active Not Recruiting
This phase III trial studies the side effects and how well risk-based therapy works in treating younger patients with newly diagnosed liver cancer. Surgery, chemotherapy drugs (cancer fighting medicines), and when necessary, liver transplant, are the main current treatments for hepatoblastoma. The stage of the cancer is one factor used to decide the best treatment. Treating patients according to the risk group they are in may help get rid of the cancer, keep it from coming back, and decrease the... Read More

Study of Pembrolizumab (MK-3475) Plus Chemotherapy Versus Placebo Plus Chemotherapy in Participants With Gastric or Gastroesophageal Junction (GEJ) Adenocarcinoma (MK-3475-585/KEYNOTE-585)
Active Not Recruiting
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy of pembrolizumab (MK-3745) in the neoadjuvant (prior to surgery) or adjuvant (after surgery) treatment of previously untreated adults with gastric and gastroesophageal junction (GEJ) adenocarcinoma. The primary study hypotheses are that: * Neoadjuvant and adjuvant pembrolizumab plus chemotherapy, followed by adjuvant pembrolizumab is superior to neoadjuvant and adjuvant placebo plus chemotherapy, followed by adjuvant placebo in terms of Eve... Comparison of Radiation Therapy Regimens in Combination With Chemotherapy in Treating Young Patients With Newly Diagnosed Standard-Risk Medulloblastoma
Completed
This randomized phase III trial is studying how well standard-dose radiation therapy works compared to reduced-dose radiation therapy in children 3-7 years of age AND how well standard volume boost radiation therapy works compared to smaller volume boost radiation therapy when given together with chemotherapy in treating young patients who have undergone surgery for newly diagnosed standard-risk medulloblastoma. Radiation therapy uses high-energy x-rays to damage tumor cells. Drugs used in chemo... Read More

Induction Therapy Including 131 I-MIBG and Chemotherapy in Treating Patients With Newly Diagnosed High-Risk Neuroblastoma Undergoing Stem Cell Transplant, Radiation Therapy, and Maintenance Therapy With Isotretinoin
Active Not Recruiting
This pilot clinical trial studies induction therapy followed by iobenguane I 131 and chemotherapy in treating patients with newly diagnosed high-risk neuroblastoma undergoing stem cell transplant, radiation therapy, and maintenance therapy with isotretinoin. Radioisotope therapy, such as iobenguane I 131, releases radiation that kills tumor cells. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as carboplatin, etoposide phosphate, busulfan, and melphalan, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cell... Read More

Active Not Recruiting
This study consists of several parts: dose escalation, dose expansion, dose expansion in Chinese participants residing in China, and coformulation. Dose escalation is to evaluate the safety, tolerability, and preliminary efficacy of MK-4830 monotherapy administration (Arms A and B) and in combination with pembrolizumab (Arm C). Dose expansion is to evaluate the objective response rate (ORR) of MK-4830 in combination with pembrolizumab (Arms A-F); evaluate the safety and tolerability of MK-4830 a... Read More

Chemotherapy and Pelvic Radiation Therapy With or Without Additional Chemotherapy in Treating Patients With High-Risk Early-Stage Cervical Cancer After Radical Hysterectomy
Active Not Recruiting
RATIONALE: Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as cisplatin, paclitaxel, and carboplatin, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells or by stopping them from dividing. Radiation therapy uses high-energy x-rays to kill tumor cells. It is not yet known whether chemotherapy and radiation therapy are more effective when given with or without additional chemotherapy in treating cervical cancer. PURPOSE: This randomized phase III trial is studying chemotherapy... Read More

Individualized Treatment in Treating Patients With Stage II-IVB Nasopharyngeal Cancer Based on EBV DNA
Active Not Recruiting
There are two study questions we are asking in this randomized phase II/III trial based on a blood biomarker, Epstein Barr virus (EBV) deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) for locoregionally advanced non-metastatic nasopharyngeal cancer. All patients will first undergo standard concurrent chemotherapy and radiation therapy. When this standard treatment is completed, if there is no detectable EBV DNA in their plasma, then patients are randomized to either standard adjuvant cisplatin and fluorouracil chemo... Read More
