This phase II trial studies how well olaparib, cediranib maleate, and standard chemotherapy work in treating patients with small cell lung cancer. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as carboplatin, cisplatin, and etoposide, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Malignant pleural mesothelioma have been found to require arginine, an amino acid. Thus the hypothesis is that by restricting arginine with ADI-PEG 20, the malignant pleural mesothelioma cells will starve and die.

Standard doses of radiotherapy to the rest of the tissues and surrounding normal tissues will be maintained.

This study will assess the safety and effectiveness of fimaporfin-induced photochemical internalisation (PCI) of gemcitabine complemented by systemic gemcitabine/cisplatin chemotherapy compared to gemcitabine/cisplatin alone, in patients with inoperable cholangiocarcinoma (CCA). Participants will be randomly assigned to one of the treatment groups and will receive study treatment for 6 months, followed by assessments every 3 months, as applicable.
