A Study of Pembrolizumab (MK-3475) in Combination With Etoposide/Platinum (Cisplatin or Carboplatin) for Participants With Extensive Stage Small Cell Lung Cancer (MK-3475-604/KEYNOTE-604)
Completed
The purpose of this study is to assess the safety and efficacy of pembrolizumab plus standard of care (SOC) chemotherapy (etoposide/platinum \[EP\]) in participants with newly diagnosed extensive stage small cell lung cancer (ES-SCLC) who have not previously received systemic therapy for this malignancy.
The primary study hypotheses are that pembrolizumab+EP prolongs Progression-free Survival (PFS) per Response Evaluation Criteria in Solid Tumors (RECIST) version 1.1 by blinded independent cent... Read More

A Study Of PF-05212384 In Combination With Other Anti-Tumor Agents and in Combination With Cisplatin in Patients With Triple Negative Breast Cancer in an Expansion Arm (TNBC)
Completed
This study will evaluate PF-05212384 (gedatolisib) PI3K/mTOR inhibitor)) in combination with either docetaxel, cisplatin or dacomitinib in select advanced solid tumors. The study will assess the safety, pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of these combinations in patients with advanced cancer in order to determine the maximum tolerated dose in each combination. The cisplatin combination expansion portion will evaluate the anti tumor activity of PF 05212384 plus cisplatin in patients with TNBC... Read More

Efficacy and Safety Study of Leukocyte Interleukin,Injection (LI) to Treat Cancer of the Oral Cavity
Completed
The purpose of this study was to determine whether LI administered in combination with cyclophosphamide, indomethacin and zinc in a multivitamin (CIZ) combination prior to standard of care therapy (surgery followed by radiotherapy or concurrent radiochemotherapy) is safe and will increase the overall survival of subjects with previously untreated locally advanced primary squamous cell carcinoma of the oral cavity or soft palate at a median of 3 to 5 years

PDR001 in Combination With Platinum-doublet Chemotherapy and Other Immunology Agents in PD-L1 Unselected, Metastatic NSCLC Patients
Terminated
The primary purpose of this study is to establish the maximum tolerated dose (MTD) and/or recommended dose for expansion (RDE) of PDR001 when administered in combination with platinum-doublet chemotherapy and other immunooncology agent(s) in treatment naive patients with PD-L1 unselected, advanced NSCLC, and to estimate the preliminary anti-tumor activity in this patient population.

Completed
Patients with primary peritoneal cancer or secondary peritoneal cancers from stomach, colorectal, appendiceal, and gynecological primary origin will be screened by pathology and staging to see if they are eligible to undergo cytoreductive surgery combined with hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy (HIPEC).
To be eligible for the study, patients must be over 18 years of age, have appropriate pathology and stage with disease confined to the peritoneal cavity, have a good performance status, h... Read More

Cisplatin in Treating Patients With Stage IIIB-IV Non-small Cell Lung Cancer or Lung Metastasis
Completed
This phase I trial studies the side effects and best dose of cisplatin in treating patients with stage IIIB-IV non-small cell lung cancer or tumors that have spread from where they started to the lung (metastasis). Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as cisplatin, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Giving cisplatin directly into the arteries around the tumor may kill more tumor ce... Read More

Completed
This phase I trial studies the side effects and best dose of ceritinib and combination chemotherapy in treating patients with solid tumors that have spread to other places in the body and usually cannot be cured or controlled with treatment (advanced) or pancreatic cancer that has spread from where it started to nearby tissue or lymph nodes (locally advanced) or has spread to other places in the body (metastatic). Phase 3 Study of Tavocept Versus Placebo in Patients With Newly Diagnosed or Relapsed Advanced Primary Adenocarcinoma of the Lung Treated With Docetaxel or Paclitaxel Plus Cisplatin
Completed
Tavocept is an investigational drug that is being developed to see if it can increase the survival of patients who are being treated with chemotherapy as well as to see if it can prevent or reduce side effects of chemotherapy. This research study is aimed at trying to find out if people with advanced adenocarcinoma of the lung who are treated with a standard combination of chemotherapy drugs will live longer if they are also treated with an investigational drug called "Tavocept." First-Line Gemcitabine, Cisplatin + Ipilimumab for Metastatic Urothelial Carcinoma
Completed
Gemcitabine plus cisplatin is standard treatment for advanced urothelial cancer. Ipilimumab has shown intriguing activity as neoadjuvant therapy in patients with clinically localized bladder cancer undergoing radical cystectomy. The combination of gemcitabine, cisplatin, plus ipilimumab may build on the chemosensitivity of urothelial carcinoma to produce more durable responses and improved outcomes.

Withdrawn
The purpose of this research study is to determine the rate of local regional control at 2 years when using de-intensified chemoradiotherapy (CRT) in patients with Human Papillomavirus (HPV)-associated head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC). Local regional control means no recurrence of the cancer in the head or neck area. Study subjects will be enrolled into 4 groups. Group/treatment will be based on a number of factors, including smoking and drinking history.
