Cyclophosphamide Treatment Options in Kansas

This phase III trial studies ibrutinib and rituximab to see how well they work compared to fludarabine phosphate, cyclophosphamide, and rituximab in treating patients with untreated chronic lymphocytic leukemia or small lymphocytic lymphoma. Ibrutinib may stop the growth of cancer cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Chemotherapy drugs, such as fludarabine phosphate and cyclophosphamide, work in different ways to stop the growth of cancer cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Rituximab is a monoclonal antibody. It binds to a protein called CD20, which is found on B cells (a type of white blood cell) and some types of cancer cells. This may help the immune system kill cancer cells. It is not yet known whether fludarabine phosphate, cyclophosphamide, and rituximab may work better than ibrutinib and rituximab in treating patients with untreated chronic lymphocytic leukemia or small lymphocytic lymphoma. This phase III trial is studying how well combination chemotherapy with or without radiation therapy works in treating young patients with newly diagnosed stage III or stage IV Wilms' tumor. Drugs used in chemotherapy work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells or by stopping them from dividing. Radiation therapy uses high-energy x-rays to kill tumor cells. Giving more than one drug (combination chemotherapy) with or without radiation therapy may kill more tumor cells. Read Less

This is a randomized, open-label study in adult patients who have completed standard first line therapy for large B-cell lymphoma (LBCL) and achieved a complete response or partial response suitable for observation, but who have minimal residual disease (MRD) as detected by the Foresight CLARITY™ Investigational Use Only (IUO) MRD test, powered by PhasED-Seq™. The purpose of the trial is to assess the efficacy and safety of consolidation with cemacabtagene ansegedleucel (cema-cel), an allogeneic CD19 CAR T product, as compared to standard of care observation. The study is conducted in 2 consecutive parts that will be enrolled continuously. In Part A of the study, participants with MRD are randomized to one of two treatment arms or an observation arm. Treatment includes cema-cel following a lymphodepletion regimen of fludarabine and cyclophosphamide administered with or without the anti-CD52 monoclonal antibody, ALLO-647. Part A will culminate with the selection of the lymphodepletion regimen to advance to Part B. Monoclonal antibodies, such as rituximab, may interfere with the ability of cancer cells to grow and spread. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as cyclophosphamide, doxorubicin hydrochloride, vincristine sulfate, and prednisone, work in different ways to stop the growth of cancer cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Lenalidomide may stimulate the immune system in different ways and stop cancer cells from growing. It is not yet known whether rituximab and combination chemotherapy are more effective when given with or without lenalidomide in treating patients with diffuse large B cell lymphoma. Read Less

This phase II trial studies how well obinutuzumab with or without umbralisib, lenalidomide, or combination chemotherapy work in treating patients with grade I-IIIa follicular lymphoma that has come back (relapsed) or does not respond to treatment (refractory). Immunotherapy with obinutuzumab, may induce changes in body's immune system and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Umbralisib may stop the growth of cancer cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Biological therapies, such as lenalidomide, use substances made from living organisms that may stimulate or suppress the immune system in different ways and stop cancer cells from growing. Chemotherapy drugs, such as cyclophosphamide, doxorubicin, vincristine, prednisone, and bendamustine, work in different ways to stop the growth of cancer cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading.
