This pilot clinical trial studies chemotherapy before surgery and tissue sample collection in patients with stage IIA-IIIC breast cancer. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as doxorubicin hydrochloride, cyclophosphamide, and paclitaxel, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells or by stopping them from dividing. Monoclonal antibodies, such as trastuzumab, may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Giving doxorubicin hydrochloride, cyclophosphamide, paclitaxel and trastuzumab may kill more tumor cells. Collecting and storing samples of tissue from patients with breast cancer to study in the laboratory may help doctors learn more about how well patients will respond to treatment. Read Less

The purpose of this study is to assess whether copanlisib in combination with standard immunochemotherapy (rituximab in combination with bendamustine \[R-B\] and rituximab in combination with a 4 drug combination of cyclophosphamide, doxorubicin, vincristine and prednisone/prednisolone \[R-CHOP\]) is effective and safe, compared with placebo in combination with standard immunochemotherapy (R-B or R-CHOP) in patients with relapsed iNHL who have received at least one, but at most three, lines of treatment, including rituximab-based immunochemotherapy and alkylating agents. The purpose of this study is to find out what effects, good and/or bad, the combination of irinotecan and temozolomide has on Ewing sarcoma. Irinotecan and temozolomide are chemotherapy drugs that are used very often to treat pediatric patients at MSKCC. The investigators have used these two drugs for many years to treat patients with Ewing sarcoma whose cancer has relapsed. For patients with newly diagnosed Ewing sarcoma the current standard of care at MSKCC is a five drug chemotherapy regimen in combination with surgery and/or radiation therapy. This standard regimen is called the EFT regimen. . Some patients with Ewing sarcoma do not have their cancer cured by the chemotherapy and surgery/radiation therapy. This study adds the chemotherapy drugs called irinotecan and temozolomide to the standard EFT regimen. The investigators are trying to improve the success of standard therapy by adding these drugs. The use of irinotecan and temozolomide in this study is experimental because they have not been used before in patients with newly diagnosed Ewing sarcoma. However the investigators have found these drugs to be effective in patients with relapsed Ewing sarcoma. It is not known if adding these two drugs will improve the outcomes of patients treated for Ewing sarcoma. Read Less

This phase I trial evaluates the side effects and usefulness of axicabtagene clioleucel (a CAR-T therapy) and find out what effect, if any, it has on treating patients with HIV-associated aggressive B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma that has come back (relapsed) or not responded to treatment (refractory). T cells are infection fighting blood cells that can kill tumor cells. Axicabtagene ciloleucel consists of genetically modified T cells, modified to recognize CD-19, a protein on the surface of cancer cells. These CD-19-specific T cells may help the body's immune system identify and kill CD-19-positive B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma cells. Read Less

RATIONALE: Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as irinotecan and carboplatin, work in different ways to stop tumor cells from dividing so they stop growing or die. Giving more than one drug may kill more tumor cells. PURPOSE: This phase II trial is studying how well giving irinotecan together with carboplatin as upfront window therapy (first-line therapy) works in treating patients with newly diagnosed intermediate-risk or high-risk rhabdomyosarcoma.
