Irinotecan and Temozolomide in Combination With Existing High Dose Alkylator Based Chemotherapy for Treatment of Patients With Newly Diagnosed Ewing Sarcoma
Active Not Recruiting
The purpose of this study is to find out what effects, good and/or bad, the combination of irinotecan and temozolomide has on Ewing sarcoma. Irinotecan and temozolomide are chemotherapy drugs that are used very often to treat pediatric patients at MSKCC. The investigators have used these two drugs for many years to treat patients with Ewing sarcoma whose cancer has relapsed. For patients with newly diagnosed Ewing sarcoma the current standard of care at MSKCC is a five drug chemotherapy regime... Read More

Immune Cell Therapy (CAR-T) for the Treatment of Patients With HIV and B-Cell Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma
Recruiting
This phase I trial evaluates the side effects and usefulness of axicabtagene clioleucel (a CAR-T therapy) and find out what effect, if any, it has on treating patients with HIV-associated aggressive B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma that has come back (relapsed) or not responded to treatment (refractory). T cells are infection fighting blood cells that can kill tumor cells. Axicabtagene ciloleucel consists of genetically modified T cells, modified to recognize CD-19, a protein on the surface of cancer... Read More

Irinotecan and Carboplatin as Upfront Window Therapy in Treating Patients With Newly Diagnosed Intermediate-Risk or High-Risk Rhabdomyosarcoma
Active Not Recruiting
RATIONALE: Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as irinotecan and carboplatin, work in different ways to stop tumor cells from dividing so they stop growing or die. Giving more than one drug may kill more tumor cells. PURPOSE: This phase II trial is studying how well giving irinotecan together with carboplatin as upfront window therapy (first-line therapy) works in treating patients with newly diagnosed intermediate-risk or high-risk rhabdomyosarcoma.

Shorter Chemo-Immunotherapy Without Anthracycline Drugs for Early-Stage Triple Negative Breast Cancer
Recruiting
This phase III trial compares the effects of shorter chemotherapy (chemo)-immunotherapy without anthracyclines to usual chemo-immunotherapy for the treatment of early-stage triple negative breast cancer. Paclitaxel is in a class of medications called anti-microtubule agents. It stops cancer cells from growing and dividing and may kill them. Carboplatin is in a class of medications known as platinum-containing compounds. It works in a way similar to the anticancer drug cisplatin, but may be bette... Read More

Risk-Adapted Allogeneic Stem Cell Transplantation For Mixed Donor Chimerism In Patients With Non-Malignant Diseases
Completed
This study proposes the use of a reduced intensity chemotherapy/radiation therapy regimen followed by stem cell transplantation, as compared to standard ablative chemotherapy regimens associated with stem cell transplantation, in a population of patients with non-malignant diseases (non-cancer). Eligible patients will have a non-malignant disease in one of the following four strata: bone marrow failure syndromes, immunodeficiencies, inborn errors of metabolism, or histiocytoses. Patients will be... Read More
