RATIONALE: Drugs used in chemotherapy such as melphalan work in different ways to stop cancer cells from dividing so they stop growing or die. Combining chemotherapy with donor peripheral stem cell transplantation may allow the doctor to give higher doses of chemotherapy drugs and kill more cancer cells. PURPOSE: This phase II trial is studying how well giving melphalan together with autologous stem cell transplantation works in treating patients with multiple myeloma or primary systemic amyloidosis. This is a randomized, open-label, multicenter, prospective study to compare the efficacy and safety of the combination of VcR-CAP to that of R-CHOP in participants who have newly diagnosed mantle cell lymphoma grade II, III or IV and who are ineligible to undergo bone marrow transplantation. This study has 3 parts. The purpose of Part 1 of this study is to assess the safety and efficacy of brentuximab vedotin in combination with RCHOP (rituximab, cyclophosphamide, doxorubicin, vincristine, and prednisone) (known as BV+RCHOP) in patients with DLBCL who have never been treated. Patients will be randomly assigned in a 1:1 ratio to receive RCHOP together with 1 of 2 doses of brentuximab vedotin. Patients will be tested to see if there is a difference in side effects between the 2 groups. The purpose of Part 2 of this study is to assess the safety and efficacy of brentuximab vedotin in combination with RCHP (rituximab, cyclophosphamide, doxorubicin, and prednisone) (known as BV+RCHP) in patients with CD30-positive DLBCL who have never been treated. Patients will be enrolled to receive RCHP together with 1.8mg/kg of brentuximab vedotin. The purpose of Part 3 of this study is to assess the safety and efficacy of BV+RCHP compared to standard RCHOP in patients with CD30-positive DLBCL that have never been treated. This open-label, multicenter study will evaluate the efficacy and safety of obinutuzumab \[RO5072759 (GA101)\] in combination with CHOP (Cyclophosphamide, Doxorubicin, Vincristine, Prednisone) chemotherapy in patients with advanced diffuse large B-cell lymphoma. Patients will receive 8 cycles of obinutuzumab (1000 mg intravenously on Day 1 of each 21-day cycle, during Cycle 1 obinutuzumab will also be infused on Days 8 and 15) in combination with CHOP chemotherapy on Day 1 of cycles 1 to 6. A substudy will investigate the drug-drug interaction of obinutuzumab with CHOP chemotherapy agents. This is a Phase I study designed to determine the MTD and assess the toxicity associated with clofarabine followed by fractionated cyclophosphamide in patients \> 1 year of age or \< 21 years of age with relapsed or refractory acute leukemias. There will be 25 to 35 patients enrolled. Cohorts of 3 to 6 patients each will receive escalated doses of clofarabine followed by fractionated cyclophosphamide until the MTD is reached. There will be no intra-patient dose escalation. Single-agent cyclophosphamide will be administered by 2-hour IVI on Day 0 of cycle 1. On Days 1, 2, and 3 and Days 8, 9, and 10 clofarabine will be administered by IVI 2 hours before each dose of cyclophosphamide (see the treatment schema below). A cycle is defined as 28 days. Tandem (two) autologous stem cell transplants may be an effective treatment for Hodgkin's lymphoma. In this study, participants with high-risk hematologic malignancies undergoing hematopoietic cell transplantation (HCT), who do not have a suitable human leukocyte antigen (HLA)-matched related/sibling donor (MSD), matched unrelated donor (MURD) or killer-immunoglobulin receptors (KIR) ligand mismatched haploidentical donor identified, will receive a combined T cell depleted (TCD) haploidentical peripheral blood stem cell (PBSC) and unrelated umbilical cord blood transplantation (UCBT) using a total lymphoid irradiation (TLI) based preparative regimen. Primary objective: * To estimate the incidence of donor derived neutrophil engraftment by day +42 post-transplant for participants with high-risk hematologic malignancies undergoing a total lymphoid irradiation (TLI)-based hematopoietic cell transplantation (HCT) using a T cell depleted (TCI) haploidentical donor peripheral blood stem cell (PBSC) donor combined with an unrelated umbilical cord blood (UCB) donor. Secondary objectives: * Estimate the incidence of malignant relapse, event-free survival (EFS), and overall survival (OS) at one-year post-transplantation. * Estimate the incidence and severity of acute and chronic graft versus host disease (GVHD) in the first 100 days after transplantation. * Estimate the incidence of secondary graft failure transplant related mortality (TRM) and transplant related morbidity in the first 100 days after HCT. Monoclonal antibodies, such as epratuzumab, can block cancer growth in different ways. Some block the ability of cancer cells to grow and spread. Others find cancer cells and help kill them or carry cancer-killing substances to them. Chemotherapy drugs work in different ways to stop the growth of cancer cells, either by killing them or by stopping them from dividing. The primary objective of the phase III study is to investigate whether IMA901 can prolong overall survival in patients with metastatic and/or locally advanced renal cell carcinoma (RCC) when added to standard first-line therapy with sunitinib.
