Testing the Use of Combination Therapy in Adult Patients With Newly Diagnosed Multiple Myeloma, the EQUATE Trial
Recruiting
This phase III trial compares the combination of four drugs (daratumumab, bortezomib, lenalidomide and dexamethasone) to the use of a three drug combination (daratumumab, lenalidomide and dexamethasone). Bortezomib may stop the growth of cancer cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Chemotherapy drugs, such as lenalidomide, work in different ways to stop the growth of cancer cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spread... Lenalidomide, and Dexamethasone With or Without Daratumumab in Treating Patients With High-Risk Smoldering Myeloma
Recruiting
This phase III trial studies how well lenalidomide and dexamethasone works with or without daratumumab in treating patients with high-risk smoldering myeloma. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as lenalidomide and dexamethasone, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as daratumumab, may induce changes in the body's immune system and may... Read More

Temsirolimus Alone or Paired With Dexamethasone Delivered to the Adventitia to eNhance Clinical Efficacy After Femoropopliteal Revascularization
Terminated
This is a prospective, multi-center, pilot feasibility study to document the effects of adventitial delivery of temsirolimus or temsirolimus with dexamethasone sodium phosphate injection, USP, after revascularization of femoropopliteal lesions in symptomatic patients with moderate to severe claudication (Rutherford 2-3) or critical limb ischemia (CLI) with rest pain (Rutherford 4). Subjects will be followed for up to 60 months post index procedure.

Comparing Dara-VCD Chemotherapy Plus Stem Cell Transplant to Dara-VCD Chemotherapy Alone for People Who Have Newly Diagnosed AL Amyloidosis
Recruiting
This phase III trial compares the effect of adding a stem cell transplant with melphalan after completing chemotherapy with daratumumab, cyclophosphamide, bortezomib and dexamethasone (Dara-VCD) versus chemotherapy with Dara-VCD alone for treating patients with newly diagnosed amyloid light chain (AL) amyloidosis. Melphalan is a chemotherapy given prior to a stem cell transplant. Giving chemotherapy before a peripheral blood stem cell transplant helps kill cancer cells in the body and helps make... Read More

Combination Chemotherapy With or Without Lestaurtinib in Treating Younger Patients With Newly Diagnosed Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia
Completed
This phase III trial studies combination chemotherapy with or without lestaurtinib with to see how well they work in treating younger patients with newly diagnosed acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Drugs used in chemotherapy work in different ways to stop the growth of stop cancer cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Exparel vs Block for ACL Reconstruction
Enrolling By Invitation
Liposomal bupivacaine or Exparel (Pacira Biosciences) is a long-lasting nonopioid analgesic that was initially utilized as an infiltrative agent but has more recently become U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved for use in interscalene brachial plexus nerve blockade as well as infiltrative blockade. Delivery in this form is reported to provide up to 72 hours of extended-release bupivacaine. Exparel's use as a regional anesthetic has also become increasingly common and has shown promis... Liposomal Bupivacaine With Dexamethasone for Foot Surgery
Enrolling By Invitation
This study aims to understand the ideal formulation to utilize in saphenous nerve and popliteal nerve blocks for foot and ankle procedures. It will examine the use of liposomal bupivacaine alone or liposomal bupivacaine with dexamethasone prior to foot and ankle procedures in peripheral nerve blocks. We will compare liposomal bupivacaine (Exparel) and liposomal bupivacaine (Exparel) combined with dexamethasone to determine if the addition of dexamethasone significantly decreases postoperative na... Brentuximab Vedotin or Crizotinib and Combination Chemotherapy in Treating Patients With Newly Diagnosed Stage II-IV Anaplastic Large Cell Lymphoma
Completed
This partially randomized phase II trial studies how well brentuximab vedotin or crizotinib and combination chemotherapy works in treating patients with newly diagnosed stage II-IV anaplastic large cell lymphoma. Brentuximab vedotin is a monoclonal antibody, called brentuximab, linked to a toxic agent called vedotin. Brentuximab attaches to CD30 positive cancer cells in targeted way and delivers vedotin to kill them. Crizotinib and methotrexate may stop the growth of cancer cells by blocking som... Read More

I-SPY COVID-19 TRIAL: An Adaptive Platform Trial for Critically Ill Patients
Recruiting
The goal of this project is to rapidly screen promising agents, in the setting of an adaptive platform trial, for treatment of critically ill COVID-19 patients. In this phase 2 platform design, agents will be identified with a signal suggesting a big impact on reducing mortality and the need for, as well as duration, of mechanical ventilation.
