Testing the Addition of Radium Therapy (Radium-223 Dichloride) to the Usual Chemotherapy Treatment (Paclitaxel) for Advanced Breast Cancer That Has Spread to the Bones
Active Not Recruiting
This phase II trial studies how well radium-223 dichloride and paclitaxel work in treating patients with advanced breast cancer that has spread to the bones. Radium-223 dichloride is a radioactive drug that behaves in a similar way to calcium and collects in cancer that has spread to the bones (bone metastases). The radioactive particles in radium-223 dichloride act on bone metastases, killing the tumor cells and reducing the pain that they can cause. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as paclitax... Read More

TTX-030 Single Agent and in Combination With Immunotherapy or Chemotherapy for Patients With Advanced Cancers
Completed
This is a phase 1/1b study of TTX-030, an antibody that inhibits CD39 enzymatic activity, leading to accumulation of pro-inflammatory adenosine triphosphate (ATP) and reduction of immunosuppressive adenosine, which may change the tumor microenvironment and promote anti-tumor immune response. This trial will study the safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, and anti-tumor activity of TTX-030 as a single agent and in combination with an approved anti-PD-1 immunotherapy and standard chemotherapies... Paclitaxel Albumin-Stabilized Nanoparticle Formulation in Treating Patients of Different Ages With Metastatic Breast Cancer
Active Not Recruiting
RATIONALE: Gathering information from patients of different ages receiving paclitaxel albumin-stabilized nanoparticle formulation for metastatic breast cancer may help doctors understand how the age of the patient changes the way the drug works. PURPOSE: This phase II trial is studying how well paclitaxel albumin-stabilized nanoparticle formulation works in treating patients of different ages with metastatic breast cancer.

Study of Durvalumab + Tremelimumab With Chemotherapy or Durvalumab With Chemotherapy or Chemotherapy Alone for Patients With Lung Cancer (POSEIDON).
Active Not Recruiting
This is a randomized, open-label, multi-center, global, Phase III study to determine the efficacy and safety of durvalumab + tremelimumab combination therapy + Standard of care (SoC) chemotherapy or durvalumab monotherapy + SoC chemotherapy versus SoC chemotherapy alone as first line treatment in patients with metastatic non small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC) with tumors that lack activating epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) mutations and anaplastic lymphoma kinase (ALK) fusions.

Nab-Paclitaxel and Gemcitabine for Recurrent/Refractory Sarcoma
Active Not Recruiting
The purpose of this study is to see if nab-paclitaxel combined with gemcitabine prevents the formation or growth of tumors in participants with relapsed or refractory osteosarcoma, Ewing sarcoma, rhabdomyosarcoma and other soft tissue sarcoma and to measure the length of time during and after treatment that their disease does not get worse. Researchers also want to find out if nab-paclitaxel combined with gemcitabine is safe and tolerable.

Testing the Combination of MLN4924 (Pevonedistat), Carboplatin, and Paclitaxel in Patients With Advanced Non-small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC) Who Have Previously Been Treated With Immunotherapy
Active Not Recruiting
This phase II trial studies how well MLN4924 (pevonedistat), carboplatin, and paclitaxel work in treating patients with stage IIIB or IV non-small cell lung cancer. Pevonedistat may stop the growth of cancer cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Chemotherapy drugs, such as carboplatin and paclitaxel, work in different ways to stop the growth of cancer cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Giving pevonedista... Read More
