In this multi-institution phase I/II trial, the investigators have chosen paclitaxel and carboplatin using a schedule and doses identical to those used in the CROSS trial. Following a run-in with nivolumab alone at 240 mg IVPB every 2 weeks for 2 doses, nivolumab at 240 mg every 2 weeks will be added to paclitaxel and carboplatin, which will be dosed according to the standard of care established by the CROSS trial: paclitaxel 50 mg/m2 weekly for 6 weeks and carboplatin AUC 2 weekly for 6 weeks. Concurrent radiation will be administered with chemotherapy at 1.8 Gy/fraction × 28 fractions to a total dose of 50.4 Gy, the standard radiation dose administered in the United States for trimodality therapy that includes concurrent therapy with carboplatin and paclitaxel. A decrease in dose to 41.4 Gy per the protocol established by van Hagen, et al. will be permitted before discontinuing therapy due to unacceptable toxicity. While the CROSS study administered only 5 weekly doses of chemotherapy during the 5 weeks of radiation, the higher dose of 50.4 Gy (1.8 Gy/fraction ×28 fractions over 5½ weeks) utilized in this study permits for a sixth dose during the additional week of radiation. This randomized phase II trial studies paclitaxel and carboplatin to see how well they work compared with bleomycin sulfate, etoposide phosphate, and cisplatin in treating patients with sex cord-ovarian stromal tumors that have spread to other places in the body and usually cannot be cured or controlled with treatment (advanced) or has returned (recurrent). Drugs used in chemotherapy work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Giving more than one drug (combination chemotherapy) may kill more tumor cells. It is not yet known which chemotherapy regimen is more effective in treating sex cord-ovarian stromal tumors. This study evaluates a topical nanoparticle paclitaxel ointment (SOR007) for the treatment of cutaneous metastases from non-melanoma cancer in adults. Three concentrations of SOR007 will be evaluated in dose-rising cohorts of three. An expanded cohort will treat additional subjects at the maximum tolerated dose. Read Less

This study involves two phases. Phase I of this study is designed to find out the maximum dose of paclitaxel poliglumex which can be safely given to subjects when combined with cetuximab and radiotherapy in head and neck cancer. Once the maximum safe dose of paclitaxel poliglumex is found, Phase II of the study will continue to find out whether the addition of paclitaxel poliglumex increases tumor response and survival compared to treatment with cetuximab and radiotherapy alone. This phase I trial studies the side effects and best dose of veliparib when given together with carboplatin, paclitaxel, and bevacizumab in treating patients with newly diagnosed stage II-IV ovarian epithelial, fallopian tube, or primary peritoneal cancer. Veliparib may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cells to repair themselves from damage and survive. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as carboplatin and paclitaxel, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Bevacizumab, a type of drug called a monoclonal antibody, blocks tumor growth by targeting certain cells and preventing the growth of new blood vessels that tumors need to grow. Giving veliparib together with carboplatin, paclitaxel, and bevacizumab may kill more tumor cells. Read Less

The investigators propose this phase I/II study to use weekly Nab-Paclitaxel (Abraxane) and carboplatin with concurrent radiation in local-regionally advanced lung cancer. There are no published human studies combining Nab-Paclitaxel (Abraxane) with radiation. The investigators will first confirm the tolerated dose (TD) of concurrent Nab-Paclitaxel (Abraxane) at 50mg/m2, and then will begin enrolling patients into the phase II component using either Nab-Paclitaxel (Abraxane) at the TD with carboplatin concurrent with daily radiation or paclitaxel with carboplatin concurrent with daily radiation. FB-7 is a Phase II, multi-center randomized study of neratinib in combination with weekly paclitaxel with or without trastuzumab followed by doxorubicin and cyclophosphamide (AC) as neoadjuvant therapy for women with HER2-positive locally advanced breast cancer. Patients in the control arm will receive neoadjuvant trastuzumab in combination with weekly paclitaxel followed by AC. The primary aim of the study is to determine the pathologic complete response (pCR) rate in breast and axillary nodes following the neoadjuvant therapy regimens. The secondary aims include determination of the pCR rate in breast only, clinical complete response (cCR) rate, two-year recurrence-free interval, two-year overall survival, toxicity of the neoadjuvant regimens, and exploration of molecular and genetic correlates of response.
