Onvansertib in Combination With Gemcitabine and Nab-paclitaxel for the Treatment of Patients With Locally-advanced, Unresectable, or Metastatic Pancreatic Ductal Adenocarcinoma
Withdrawn
This phase II trial studies how well onvansertib in combination with gemcitabine and nab-paclitaxel works in treating patients with pancreatic ductal carcinoma (PDAC) that has spread to nearby tissue or lymph nodes (locally advanced), that cannot be removed by surgery (unresectable), or that has spread from where it first started (primary site) to other places in the body (metastatic). Onvansertib is a small chemical molecule that binds and stops the function of of PLK1 in tumor cells. By attack... Read More

Doxorubicin Hydrochloride and Cyclophosphamide Followed by Paclitaxel With or Without Carboplatin in Treating Patients With Triple-Negative Breast Cancer
Active Not Recruiting
This randomized phase III trial studies how well doxorubicin hydrochloride and cyclophosphamide followed by paclitaxel with or without carboplatin work in treating patients with triple-negative breast cancer. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as doxorubicin hydrochloride, cyclophosphamide, paclitaxel, and carboplatin, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. It is not yet known whethe... Read More

Effect of Tumor Treating Fields (TTFields, 200 kHz) Concomitant With Weekly Paclitaxel for the Treatment of Recurrent Ovarian Cancer (ENGOT-ov50 / GOG-3029 / INNOVATE-3)
Completed
The study is a prospective, randomized controlled phase III trial aimed to test the efficacy and safety of Tumor Treating Fields (TTFields) concomitant with weekly paclitaxel for the treatment of recurrent ovarian cancer . The device is an experimental, portable, battery operated device for chronic administration of alternating electric fields (termed TTFields or TTF) to the region of the malignant tumor, by means of surface, insulated electrode arrays.

Serial Measurements of Molecular and Architectural Responses to Therapy (SMMART) PRIME Trial
Terminated
This phase Ib trial determines if samples from a patient's cancer can be tested to find combinations of drugs that provide clinical benefit for the kind of cancer the patient has. This study is also being done to understand why cancer drugs can stop working and how different cancers in different people respond to different types of therapy.

SMMART Adaptive Clinical Treatment (ACT) Trial
Withdrawn
SMMART-ACT is a feasibility pilot study to determine if testing samples from a participant's cancer using a precision medicine approach can be used to identify specific drugs or drug combinations that can help control their disease. The safety and tolerability of the drug or drug combination is also to be studied. Another purpose is for researchers to study tumor cells to try to learn why some people respond to a certain therapy and others do not, and why some cancer drugs stop working. The stud... Read More
