S0221 Adjuvant Doxorubicin, Cyclophosphamide, and Paclitaxel in Treating Patients With Breast Cancer
Active Not Recruiting
RATIONALE: Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as doxorubicin, cyclophosphamide, and paclitaxel, use different ways to stop tumor cells from dividing so they stop growing or die. Combining more than one drug and giving them after surgery may kill any remaining tumor cells. It is not yet known which combination chemotherapy regimen is more effective in treating resected breast cancer. PURPOSE: This randomized phase III trial is comparing 2 different regimens of combination chemotherapy to see how w... Read More

A Pilot Study of Perioperative Nivolumab and Paricalcitol to Target the Microenvironment in Resectable Pancreatic Cancer
Terminated
The main purpose of this study is to look at the potential effects of paricalcitol (a drug similar to vitamin D) and nivolumab on pancreatic tumors in patients who are treated with gemcitabine and abraxane. The study will also look at the safety of including paricalcitol and nivolumab as part of the gemcitabine and abraxane chemotherapeutic regimen.

Paclitaxel and Ganetespib in Treating Patients With Recurrent Ovarian, Fallopian Tube, or Primary Peritoneal Cancer
Terminated
This phase I/II trial studies the side effects and best dose of ganetespib when given together with paclitaxel and to see how well they work in treating patients with recurrent ovarian, fallopian tube, or primary peritoneal cancer. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as paclitaxel, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells or by stopping them from dividing. Ganetespib may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growt... Read More

A Randomized Pilot/Pharmacodynamic/Genomic Study of Neoadjuvant Paricalcitol to Target the Microenvironment in Resectable Pancreatic Cancer
Completed
This study is a randomized pilot/pharmacodynamic/genomic study of neoadjuvant paricalcitol to target the microenvironment in resectable pancreatic cancer to determine the effect of targeting the vitamin D metabolic program in the tumors of patients treated with one cycle of gemcitabine/abraxane with or without paricalcitol prior to surgery for resectable pancreatic cancer through an assessment of cellular and imaging markers.

Pembrolizumab, Paclitaxel, Carboplatin, and Radiation Therapy in Treating Patients With Stage II-IIIB Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer
Active Not Recruiting
This phase I trial studies the side effects, best dose, and best way to give pembrolizumab when given together with paclitaxel, carboplatin, and radiation therapy in treating patients with stage II-IIIB non-small cell lung cancer. Monoclonal antibodies, such as pembrolizumab, may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as paclitaxel and carboplatin, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by sto... Read More

Completed
This is a Phase I study to assess the safety and Maximum tolerated dose (MTD) of paclitaxel + ribociclib (LEE011) in patients with Rb+, advanced breast cancer. Dose escalation will be performed using standard 3 + 3 dosing strategy. The starting dose of ribociclib (LEE011) is 200 mg once daily; dose escalation proceeds in 200 mg increments up to a maximum of 600 mg. Dose-limiting toxicities (DLT) will be based upon first-cycle toxicity.
