Paclitaxel Treatment Options in Pennsylvania

The study has a safety and a Phase 2 portion. In the safety portion of the study, subjects with metastatic non-small cell lung cancer will be treated with study drug (CS-7017) in combination with carboplatin and paclitaxel to evaluate safety. In the Phase 2 portion of the study, subjects will receive study drug (CS-7017) or placebo in combination with carboplatin and paclitaxel to evaluate effectiveness and safety. The study will find out if adding CS-7017 to carboplatin and paclitaxel will be safe and improve progression free survival in subjects with metastatic non-small cell lung cancer. Read Less

This study is a phase I, single arm, open-label trial of PD0332991 in combination with Paclitaxel in patients with Rb-expressing metastatic breast cancer. Up to 20 patients are anticipated to be enrolled to reach the Maximum Tolerated Dose (MTD) of PD0332991 in combination with Paclitaxel. This randomized phase II trial studies how well giving cabozantinib-s-malate or paclitaxel works in treating patients with persistent or recurrent epithelial ovarian, fallopian tube, or primary peritoneal cavity cancer. Cabozantinib-s-malate may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as paclitaxel, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells or by stopping them from dividing.
