Gemcitabine, Cisplatin and Nab-Paclitaxel As Neoadjuvant Treatment for Patients with Resectable or Borderline Resectable Pancreatic Cancer
Recruiting
This phase II trial tests how well gemcitabine, cisplatin and nab-paclitaxel given before surgery (neoadjuvant) works in treating patients with pancreatic cancer that can be removed by surgery (resectable) or that is borderline resectable. The standard treatment for resectable and borderline resectable pancreatic cancer is a combination of surgery and chemotherapy. Neoadjuvant therapy has been shown to improve overall survival compared to patients receiving surgery first. Gemcitabine is a chemot... Read More

Nab-paclitaxel and Carboplatin Followed by Response-Based Local Therapy in Treating Patients With Stage III or IV HPV-Related Oropharyngeal Cancer
Completed
This phase II trial studies nab-paclitaxel (paclitaxel albumin-stabilized nanoparticle formulation) and carboplatin followed by response-based local therapy in treating patients with stage III or IV human papillomavirus (HPV)-related oropharyngeal cancer. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as paclitaxel albumin-stabilized nanoparticle formulation, carboplatin, hydroxyurea, fluorouracil, paclitaxel, and cisplatin, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells... PET Dynamics to Response-Adapted Neoadjuvant Therapy in TNBC
Recruiting
Eligible patients with stage 2 and 3 triple negative breast cancer will be treated with 4 cycles of neoadjuvant paclitaxel/carboplatin/pembrolizumab. A PET scan will be performed at baseline and after 1 cycle of therapy. A breast MRI will be performed after treatment completion. Patients with complete clinical response will proceed to surgery. Patients with clinical residual disease will complete neoadjuvant rescue with 4 cycles of doxorubicin/cyclophosphamide prior to surgery. If residual disea... Read More

Safety, Pharmacokinetics, Pharmacodynamics, and Preliminary Efficacy Trial of BNT141 in Patients With Unresectable or Metastatic CLDN18.2-positive Gastric, Pancreatic, Ovarian and Biliary Tract Tumors
Terminated
This study was planned as an open-label, multi-site, Phase I/IIa dose escalation, safety, and pharmacokinetic (PK) trial of BNT141 followed by expansion cohorts in patients with Claudin 18.2 (CLDN18.2)-positive tumors. The sponsor decided to stop the development of BNT141 on 24 July 2023 and the study was terminated early.

Enzalutamide and Paclitaxel Before Surgery in Treating Patients With Stage I-III Androgen Receptor-Positive Triple-Negative Breast Cancer
Completed
This phase IIB trial studies how well enzalutamide and paclitaxel before surgery works in treating patients with stage I-III androgen receptor-positive triple-negative breast cancer. Androgens can cause the growth of triple-negative breast cancer. Anti-hormone therapy, such as enzalutamide, prevent androgen from binding to the androgen receptor, thereby decreasing cell growth and causing tumor cell death. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as paclitaxel, work in different ways to stop the growth o... Read More

A Phase I Intravesical PPM Therapy for NMIBC
Recruiting
This clinical trial is to determine the safety and effectiveness of an investigational bladder cancer drug named "PLZ4-coated paclitaxel-loaded nanoscale micelle (PPM)." PPM is tiny particles that contain the chemotherapy drug paclitaxel. PLZ4 is a molecule that can possibly guide PPM to specifically target and deliver paclitaxel into and kill bladder cancer cells. In this trial, PPM will be instilled into the bladder cavity to treat bladder cancer that does not invade into the muscle layer of t... Read More

Dose-escalating, Safety, Tolerability and PK Study of TAS-119 in Combination With Paclitaxel in Patients With Advanced Solid Tumors
Terminated
The purpose of this study is to determine the safety of TAS-119 and determine the most appropriate dose in combination with Paclitaxel for subsequent studies in patients with advanced solid tumors. TAS-119 is a novel, selective Aurora A kinase inhibitor, which has previously been demonstrated to enhance the activity of paclitaxel in preclinical studies

Radiotherapy, Carboplatin/Paclitaxel and Nivolumab for High Risk HPV-related Head and Neck Cancer
Completed
The purpose of this study is to find out if the addition of nivolumab can improve 2 year progression free survival (PFS) as compared to standard of care of fractionated radiation therapy (RT) and carboplatin/paclitaxel in subjects with high risk HPV-related squamous cell carcinoma of the oropharynx (tonsil, base of tongue, oropharyngeal wall, soft palate). Fractionated means the radiation will be administered in fragments or parts across multiple days.

A Pilot Study of Response-Driven Adaptive Radiation Therapy for Patients With Locally Advanced Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer
Completed
Successful treatment of lung cancer with radiation therapy requires that the physicians determine exactly where the tumor is in the patient's body and seek to limit any unnecessary radiation to normal parts of the body. This study is designed to apply functional imaging, Fluorodeoxyglucose-Positron Emission Tomography (FDG-PET) ("a PET scan") and Ventilation/Perfusion Single Photon Emission Computerized Tomography (V/Q SPECT) ("a perfusion scan"), before treatment and then again during treatment...
