Metabolic Dysfunction-Associated Steatotic Liver Disease (MASLD) is the most common cause of chronic liver disease worldwide and predominately affects individuals with overweight and obesity, as well as those with type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular disease. This is a study of tirzepatide in participants with overweight and obesity. The main purpose is to learn more about how tirzepatide affects body weight. In postmenopausal women, obesity increases the risk of physical function decline, premature aging, and vascular dysfunction. Semaglutide and tirzepatide are potent obesity medications.
