This is a Phase II randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial in 120 males and non-pregnant females, 18 to 49 years old, inclusive, who are in good health and meet all eligibility criteria. This clinical trial will be conducted at 3 United States sites and is designed to assess the safety, reactogenicity, and immunogenicity of two priming doses of M-001 followed by a seasonal quadrivalent inactivated influenza vaccine (IIV4). This research study is for subjects that are receiving a bone marrow transplant. As part of the transplant subjects will receive stem cells from a donor who has agreed to donate stem cells for them. Unfortunately, it takes a long time for the immune system to recover after a bone marrow transplant. This makes it more likely for patients to develop serious infections. This study is being done to better understand how the immune system will recover after transplant. The immune system includes the cells that help fight infection. This study will help investigators understand which patients are at risk for developing infections after transplant. All children and adults receive standard vaccines (shots) during their lifetime to provide protection from many different infections. One such infection is tetanus, a bacteria that can cause life-threatening problems. After transplant patients no longer have protection from infections such as tetanus. Therefore, most patients need to receive all their vaccine (shots) again after transplant. This is usually done 1-2 years after transplant, since it may take that long for patients to have a normal immune system. However, the investigators believe that the time it will take for the patient to develop normal protection against tetanus can be shortened if both the patient and the patient's stem cell donor receive a tetanus vaccine. The goal of this study is to determine if giving a tetanus vaccine to the donor and the patient will provide the patient with enough protection (immunity) to prevent infection following bone marrow transplant. RATIONALE: Vaccines made from peptides may help the body build an effective immune response to kill tumor cells that express HER2/neu. Biological therapies, such as GM-CSF, may stimulate the immune system in different ways and stop tumor cells from growing. It is not yet known whether vaccine therapy is more effective than GM-CSF in treating breast cancer. This is a single-center, randomized, single-blinded, three-arm phase Ib study of the folate binding protein vaccines E39 and J65. The study target population are patients with breast or ovarian cancer diagnosis who have been treated and are without evidence of disease. Disease-free subjects after standard of care multi-modality therapy will be screened and HLA typed. E39 and J65 are cytotoxic T-lymphocyte-eliciting peptide vaccines that are restricted to HLA-A2+ patients (approximately 50% of the U.S. population). Read Less

This is a first-in-human (Phase 1) and Phase 2 study of a single vaccination with one of three dose levels of an investigational vaccine against Staphylococcus aureus (SA4Ag). This study will investigate a clostridium difficile vaccine in healthy adults aged 50 to 85 years, who will each receive 3 doses of vaccine. The primary purpose of this study is to see if a herpes vaccine may prevent genital herpes disease in women who are not infected. The study will enroll approximately 7550 healthy women. These women will be randomly assigned to 1 of 2 possible study groups: herpes vaccine (experimental group) or hepatitis A vaccine (control group). Participants will receive their assigned vaccine at 0, 1, and 6 months. Participants will have 9 scheduled study visits and additional unscheduled visits for an evaluation of herpes if it is suspected.
