A Randomized Phase 3 Trial of Pemetrexed and Cisplatin Versus Gemcitabine and Cisplatin in Patients With Locally Advanced or Metastatic Non Small Cell Lung Cancer
Completed
This study is a randomized Phase 3 study comparing pemetrexed and cisplatin combination to gemcitabine and cisplatin for the treatment of Non Small Cell Lung Cancer (NCSLC). Gemcitabine plus cisplatin is currently the standard of care for NSCLC. It is thought that pemetrexed plus cisplatin may be as effective and may have fewer side effects than the standard of care.

A Study of Pemetrexed and Carboplatin/Cisplatin or Gemcitabine and Carboplatin/Cisplatin With or Without IMC-1121B in Participants Previously Untreated With Recurrent or Advanced Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC)
Completed
The purpose of this study is to determine if participants with Stage IV NSCLC have a better outcome when treated with IMC-1121B in combination with pemetrexed + carboplatin/cisplatin or gemcitabine + carboplatin/cisplatin than when treated with pemetrexed + carboplatin/cisplatin or gemcitabine + carboplatin/cisplatin alone.

R-ICE Versus R-DHAP in Patients Aged 18-65 With Relapse Diffuse Large B-cell Lymphoma
Completed
The primary objective of this study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of induction therapy R-ICE in comparison to R-DHAP after 3 cycles adjusted to successful mobilization of stem cells in patients with previously treated diffuse large B-cell lymphoma CD20. The goal is to detect a difference in mobilization adjusted response rate of 15% between R-ICE and R-DHAP. The other objective is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of MabThera maintenance therapy after transplantation as measured by... Read More

Study to Evaluate GSK3052230 in Combination With Paclitaxel and Carboplatin, or Docetaxel or as Single Agent in Subjects With Solid Malignancies and Deregulated Fibroblast Growth Factor (FGF) Pathway Signaling
Completed
This phase IB trial aims to identify anticancer activity of GSK3052230 in subjects with malignancies with abnormal dependence on FGF pathway signaling. Combination doses of GSK3052230 with standard of care chemotherapy in the first and second line or greater setting of metastatic squamous non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and first line malignant pleural mesothelioma subjects will be studied in the 3+3 dose-escalation design. This will be a multi-arm, multicenter, non-randomized, parallel-group... Read More

Study Evaluating Chemotherapy in Combination With Inotuzumab Ozogamicin In Subjects With Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma
Completed
This is a phase 1 trial designed to evaluate safety and tolerability of chemotherapy in combination with inotuzumab ozogamicin, an investigational product, in adults with CD22-positive non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. The trial will involve two arms. In one arm, subjects will receive chemotherapy regimen R-CVP (rituximab, cyclophosphamide, vincristine and prednisone). In the other arm, subjects will receive R-GDP (rituximab, gemcitabine, cisplatinum and dexamethasone). Subjects in both arms will also rec... Read More

Dose Escalation Study of Simultaneous Boost Intensity-Modulated Radiotherapy for Locally Advanced Cervical Cancer
Completed
This will be the first study to assess the clinical feasibility of dose escalation with simultaneous integrated boost intensity-modulated radiotherapy for patients with locally advanced cervical cancer. Following screening to confirm eligibility patients will commence a six week treatment period. After this, patients will be followed up by visits to clinic every 3 months for a period of 24 months (2 years). End of study is defined as 24 months after treatment. Patients will be followed up for a... Read More

A Study of Atezolizumab Compared With Gemcitabine Plus (+) Cisplatin or Carboplatin for PD-L1-Selected Participants With Stage IV Squamous Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC) (IMpower111)
Terminated
This randomized, open-label study was designed to evaluate and compare the safety and efficacy of atezolizumab with gemcitabine + cisplatin or carboplatin in PD-L1 selected participants with chemotherapy-naive, Stage IV squamous NSCLC. The study was closed due to low patient enrollment and the Sponsor's decision to include patients with squamous NSCLC into the GO29431 study, NCT02409342. Therefore the planned objectives of this study are no longer applicable and formal analyses of efficacy or sa... Read More

Patritumab With Cetuximab and a Platinum Agent for Squamous Cell Carcinoma (Cancer) of the Head and Neck (SCCHN )
Terminated
This study will test an investigational study drug called patritumab. It is a 'randomized study' which means participants have an equal chance of being assigned to receive the experimental medication (patritumab) or a substance that looks like the experimental product, but is not (placebo). Patritumab may work when combined with other medications that are approved for the treatment of head and neck cancer. They are called cetuximab, cisplatin or carboplatin. All participants will receive the oth... Read More

Gemcitabine Hydrochloride, Cisplatin, and Sunitinib Malate as First-Line Therapy in Treating Patients With Locally Advanced And/or Metastatic Transitional Cell Carcinoma of the Urothelium (SUCCINCT)
Completed
RATIONALE: Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as gemcitabine hydrochloride and cisplatin, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells or by stopping them from dividing. Sunitinib malate may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth and by blocking blood flow to the tumor. Giving gemcitabine hydrochloride and cisplatin together with sunitinib malate may kill more tumor cells. PURPOSE: This phase II trial is study... Read More
