The purpose of this initiative is to improve care and outcomes for infants with HLHS by expanding the NPC-QIC national registry to gather clinical care process, outcome, and developmental data on infants with HLHS between diagnosis and 12 months of age, by improving the use of standards into everyday practice across pediatric cardiology centers, and by engaging parents as partners in the process. This phase III trial studies how well letrozole with or without paclitaxel and carboplatin works in treating patients with stage II-IV low-grade serous carcinoma of the ovary, fallopian tube, or peritoneum. Letrozole is an enzyme inhibitor that lowers the amount of estrogen made by the body which in turn may stop the growth of tumor cells that need estrogen to grow. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as paclitaxel and carboplatin, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. It is not yet known whether giving letrozole alone or in combination with paclitaxel and carboplatin works better in treating patients with low-grade serous carcinoma of the ovary, fallopian tube, or peritoneum compared to paclitaxel and carboplatin without letrozole. Metoclopramide is a drug approved by the FDA for gastroesophageal reflux and to relieve symptoms in adults with acute and recurrent diabetic gastroparesis. The objective of this study is to determine whether metoclopramide can improve hypoglycemia awareness and decrease the incidence of hypoglycemia in type 1 diabetes patients with hypoglycemia unawareness. The purpose of this study is to find out if empagliflozin, a new diabetic medication that has been shown to be very effective in lowering the risk of heart failure, is safe and tolerated in dialysis patients. In the recent years, empagliflozin has become a major tool to prevent heart failure hospitalization and to reduce the risk for cardiovascular death in diabetic and non-diabetic patients. Although patients with severe chronic kidney disease and ESKD have very high risk of heart failure and cardiovascular death, they have been excluded from all of the previous studies. If this medication is found to be well tolerated and safe in dialysis patients through this study, future clinical studies can evaluate if this medication can also reduce the risk of heart failure and cardiovascular death in dialysis patients. Eosinophilic granulomatosis with polyangiitis (EGPA) is a rare immune system disorder that causes asthma, an excessive number of eosinophils (a type of white blood cell) in the blood, and the inflammation of blood vessels, or vasculitis. In order to properly treat EGPA, it is critical that the level of disease activity can be determined over the course of the disease. The goal of this clinical study is to learn more about the timing of tics (sudden, fast movements and sounds that people do and make without meaning to) in people who have multiple tics that have been going on for more than one year. The main questions it aims to answer are: 1. See whether a tic's timing is related to other characteristics of the tic, like how long it has been happening and how well the person can control/stop that tic 2. See whether the timing of a tic can tell us how well the person can control/stop that tic 3. See whether tic treatment changes the timing of tics, and if the timing of a tic has anything to do with how well treatment will work to stop it Participants will meet with a study researcher to learn more about the study, ask questions, and decide whether or not they would like to be involved. If they decide to do the study, they will meet with the researcher 6 times: 1. During the first visit, the study researcher will ask questions about the participant's life, tics, and other psychological symptoms. The researcher will watch the participant's tics for 10 minutes. The participant will do a computer task where they follow instructions to tic or not tic. 2. During the second visit, the study researcher will treat one of the participant's tics. 3. During the third visit, the study researcher will treat another one of the participant's tics. 4. During the fourth visit, the study researcher will treat another one of the participant's tics. 5. During the fifth visit, the study researcher will treat another one of the participant's tics. 6. During the sixth visit, the study researcher will ask questions about the participant's tics and other psychological symptoms. Advancements in prenatal genetic screening have significantly improved the identification of chromosomal abnormalities and heritable conditions during pregnancy, yet current standards for patient education in this domain are largely ineffective. The most effective approach to education about prenatal screening is one-on-one genetic counseling, but due to the limited number of counselors this is not feasible, especially in rural and frontier areas. The primary goal of this proposal is to collect motor and functional outcomes specific to FSHD over time. By collecting measures specific to FSHD, this will help ensure the best level of clinical care is being provided. Also, the hope is to speed up drug development by gaining a better understanding of how having FSHD impacts motor function and other health outcomes (i.e. breathing, wheelchair use, etc.) and how big a change in motor function would be clinically meaningful to those with FSHD. Motor Outcomes to Validate Evaluations in FSHD (MOVE FSHD) will have approximately 450 FSHD participants followed for a minimum of 3 years. A subset of MOVE FSHD participants, approximately 200, will participate in the MOVE+ sub-study which includes whole body MRI and muscle biopsy. Read Less

This trial studies how well paclitaxel, trastuzumab, and pertuzumab work in eliminating further chemotherapy after surgery in patients with HER2-positive stage II-IIIa breast cancer who have no cancer remaining at surgery (either in the breast or underarm lymph nodes) after pre-operative chemotherapy and HER2-targeted therapy. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as paclitaxel, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Trastuzumab and pertuzumab are both a form of "targeted therapy" because they work by attaching themselves to specific molecules (receptors) on the surface of tumor cells, known as HER2 receptors. When these drugs attach to HER2 receptors, the signals that tell the cells to grow are blocked and the tumor cell may be marked for destruction by the body's immune system. Giving paclitaxel, trastuzumab, and pertuzumab may enable fewer chemotherapy drugs to be given without compromising patient outcomes compared to the usual treatment. Read Less
