Lymphoma Paid Clinical Trials in Virginia

This study is researching an experimental drug called odronextamab, referred to as study drug. The study is focused on participants with previously untreated follicular lymphoma (a type of non-Hodgkin lymphoma or NHL). This study will be made up of two parts: Part 1 (non-randomized) and Part 2 (randomized - controlled). The aim of Part 1 of the study is to see how safe and tolerable the study drug is when given alone. The aim of Part 2 of the study is to see how the study drug works compared to rituximab (called the "comparator drug") and chemotherapy (the current standard of care for NHL). Standard of care means the usual medication expected and used when receiving treatment for a condition. The study is looking at several other research questions, including: * What side effects may happen from taking the study drug * How much study drug is in the blood at different times * Whether the body makes antibodies against the study drug (which could make the study drug less effective or could lead to side effects) * How the study drug affects quality of life and ability to complete routine daily activities. The main purpose of Part 1 of this study is to assess the efficacy and safety of 3 dose levels of Pirtobrutinib in participants with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) or small lymphocytic lymphoma (SLL), who have received 1-3 lines of treatment including a covalent Bruton tyrosine kinase (BTK) inhibitor. The purpose of Part 2 of this study is to evaluate pirtobrutinib monotherapy in participants with treatment-naïve CLL/SLL with 17p deletions. This phase I trial studies the side effects and best dose of mosunetuzumab when given together with polatuzumab vedotin and lenalidomide in treating patients with diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) that has come back after a period of improvement (relapsed) or that has not responded to previous treatment (refractory). Mosunetuzumab and polatuzumab vedotin are monoclonal antibodies that may interfere with the ability of cancer cells to grow and spread. Polatuzumab, linked to a toxic agent called vedotin, attaches to CD79B positive cancer cells in a targeted way and delivers vedotin to kill them. Lenalidomide may stimulate or suppress the immune system in different ways and stop cancer cells from growing and by preventing the growth of new blood vessels that cancer cells need to grow. Giving mosunetuzumab with polatuzumab vedotin and lenalidomide may work better in treating patients with relapsed/refractory DLBCL. Read Less

This is a Phase 1/2, open-label, multicenter study to determine the efficacy and safety of JCAR017 in adult subjects with relapsed or refractory CLL or SLL. The study will include a Phase 1 part to determine the recommended dose of JCAR017 monotherapy in subjects with relapsed or refractory CLL or SLL, followed by a Phase 2 part to further assess the efficacy and safety of JCAR017 monotherapy treatment at the recommended dose. A separate Phase 1 cohort will assess the combination of JCAR017 and concurrent ibrutinib. Another separate Phase 1 cohort will assess the combination of JCAR017 and concurrent venetoclax. This phase III trial tests whether continuous or intermittent zanubrutinib after achieving a complete remission (CR) with rituximab works in older adult patients with mantle cell lymphoma (MCL) who have not received treatment in the past (previously untreated). Rituximab is a monoclonal antibody that may interfere with the ability of cancer cells to grow and spread. Zanubrutinib may stop the growth of cancer cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. When zanubrutinib is used in MCL, the current standard of care is to continue administering the drug indefinitely until disease progression. This continuous treatment comes with clinical as well as financial toxicity, which could be especially detrimental in older patients. For patients who achieve a CR after initial zanubrutinib plus rituximab therapy, it may be safe and equally effective to stop treatment and restart zanubrutinib upon disease progression rather than continuing indefinitely in previously untreated older adult patients with MCL. This phase II trial studies the effect of duvelisib or CC-486 and usual chemotherapy consisting of cyclophosphamide, doxorubicin, vincristine, etoposide, and prednisone in treating patients with peripheral T-cell lymphoma. Duvelisib may stop the growth of cancer cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Chemotherapy drugs, such as CC-486, cyclophosphamide, doxorubicin, vincristine, etoposide and prednisone, work in different ways to stop the growth of cancer cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. This trial may help find out if this approach is better or worse than the usual approach for treating peripheral T-cell lymphoma. Read Less

This is a randomized, open-label study in adult patients who have completed standard first line therapy for large B-cell lymphoma (LBCL) and achieved a complete response or partial response suitable for observation, but who have minimal residual disease (MRD) as detected by the Foresight CLARITY™ Investigational Use Only (IUO) MRD test, powered by PhasED-Seq™. The purpose of the trial is to assess the efficacy and safety of consolidation with cemacabtagene ansegedleucel (cema-cel), an allogeneic CD19 CAR T product, as compared to standard of care observation. The study is conducted in 2 consecutive parts that will be enrolled continuously. In Part A of the study, participants with MRD are randomized to one of two treatment arms or an observation arm. Treatment includes cema-cel following a lymphodepletion regimen of fludarabine and cyclophosphamide administered with or without the anti-CD52 monoclonal antibody, ALLO-647. Part A will culminate with the selection of the lymphodepletion regimen to advance to Part B. Part B will evaluate the selected lymphodepletion regimen followed by cema-cel as compared with observation. Read Less

The purpose of this research is to test whether participating in either a physical activity intervention or a series of educational classes will help to preserve exercise capability, heart function, brain-based activities (like memory), and quality of life. Participants will be randomized to 1 of 2 pathways: * First pathway consists of organized health workshops. These workshops are intended to provide information on topics such as proper nutrition, management of stress, sleep practices, and emphasis on a healthy lifestyle that may help the participants through cancer treatment. This pathway will also test whether stretching may help participants through cancer treatment. * Second pathway participants will take part in some unsupervised and some potentially supervised moderate activity sessions each week throughout participants' cancer treatment to take place either remotely or in person, depending on availability of facilities at the time visits are scheduled. This randomized phase II trial studies how well obinutuzumab works as maintenance treatment in patients with central nervous system lymphoma who have achieved the disappearance of all signs of cancer in response to treatment (complete response) or a decrease in the size of a tumor, or in the extent of cancer in the body, in response to treatment (partial response).
