Cancer Paid Clinical Trials in Washington

This study is open to adults aged 18 years and older with different types of HER2+ cancer that has spread and cannot be removed by surgery. People can take part in this study if their tumours show HER2 aberrations and previous treatment was not successful. The purpose of this study is to find a suitable dose of zongertinib that people with different types of HER2+ cancer that has spread can tolerate best when taken together with trastuzumab deruxtecan (T-DXd) or with trastuzumab emtansine (T-DM1). Another purpose is to check whether zongertinib in combination with T-DXd or with T-DM1 can make tumours shrink. Zongertinib inhibits HER2. HER2 causes cancer cells to grow. The study is split into treatment cycles. All study participants are treated with zongertinib in combination with T-DXd or with T-DM1. This study has 2 parts. In Part 1, participants receive increasing doses of zongertinib. In Part 2, participants are put into different groups by chance. Each group receives a different dose of zongertinib. Every participant has an equal chance of being in each group. During the study, the participants visit the study site regularly. In this study, researchers want to find the highest dose of zongertinib that participants can tolerate when taken together with T-DXd or with T-DM1. To find this out, researchers look at certain severe health problems that a number of participants have. The doctors regularly check the size of the tumour with imaging methods (CT/MRI) during the study. The doctors also regularly check participants' health and take note of any unwanted effects. Prehabilitation refers to the process of improving a patient's functional capabilities prior to a surgical procedure with the goal of decreasing post-surgical inactivity and physical decline. This clinical trial evaluates the utility of a personalized home-based prehabilitation exercise intervention for the improvement of physical function and surgical outcomes in patients with urothelial carcinoma undergoing definitive or consolidative surgery of the bladder (radical cystectomy) or upper tract (nephroureterectomy, ureterectomy) with or without preceding neoadjuvant/systemic therapy. The exercise intervention includes at-home exercise sessions focused on the improvement of core strength and balance as well as personalized step count goals, delivered to patients remotely via a smart-device-based application (ExerciseRx). Medicines that reduce the amount of testosterone in the body are commonly used to treat prostate cancer. PRL-02 depot is a potential treatment for men with advanced prostate cancer. It is given by an injection into the muscle. Men with advanced prostate cancer can take part in this study. Their cancer has come back after previous cancer treatment, or the previous cancer treatment they had didn't work. The main aims of the study are: * to check the safety of PRL-02 depot given with and without another medicine called enzalutamide. * to check if the men can tolerate PRL-02 depot given with or without enzalutamide. * to find a suitable dose of PRL-02 depot. This study will be in 2 parts. In the first part, different small groups of men will receive lower to higher doses of PRL-02 depot together with other medicines. In the second part of the study, men who have previously taken a hormone therapy called abiraterone acetate or have previously taken 1 specific hormone therapy as part of their prostate cancer treatment can take part. Men in both parts of the study will receive injections of PRL-02 depot into a muscle once every 12 weeks. They will also take dexamethasone or prednisone, or enzalutamide once a day. The other medicines they take depend on which group and which part of the study they are in. During the study, the men will visit the clinic several times for health checks and scans. After the final visit, men whose cancer has not become worse will continue to have health checks and scans every few months. Read Less

This phase I trial studies the safety of personalized neo-antigen peptide vaccine in treating patients with stage IIIC-IV melanoma, hormone receptor positive HER2 negative breast cancer that has spread from where it first started (primary site) to other places in the body (metastatic) or does not respond to treatment (refractory) or stage III-IV non-small cell lung cancer. This is an open-label, multi-center, multi-cohort, Phase 2 study to evaluate the efficacy and safety of trastuzumab deruxtecan (T-DXd) for the treatment of selected HER2-expressing tumors. This study will consist of Part 1 which includes 7 cohorts of: urothelial bladder cancer, biliary tract cancer, cervical cancer, endometrial cancer, ovarian cancer, pancreatic cancer, and rare tumors; and Part 2 which includes 5 cohorts A to E of: A) any tumor type that is HER2 IHC 3+ (excluding breast, gastric cancer, and colorectal cancer), B) any tumor type that is HER2 IHC 2+/ISH+ (excluding breast, gastric cancer, and colorectal cancer), C) HER2 IHC 2+ or 1+ endometrial cancer, D) HER2 IHC 2+ or 1+ ovarian cancer, and E) HER2 IHC 2+ or 1+ cervical cancer.
