This phase III trial compares an additional support program (text message reminders and/or telephone-based counseling) with usual care in making sure breast cancer patients take their endocrine therapy medication as prescribed (medication adherence). Medication adherence is how well patients take the medication as prescribed by their doctors, and good medical adherence is when patients take medications correctly. Poor medication adherence has been shown to be a serious barrier to effective treatment for hormone receptor positive breast cancer patients. Adding text message reminders and/or telephone-based counseling to usual care may increase the number of days that patients take their endocrine therapy medication as prescribed. Read Less

This study will compare the effectiveness of two pain management pathways (standard vs. enriched) for patients undergoing lumbar spine surgery in the Military Health System (MHS). This phase III trial studies how well trastuzumab emtansine (T-DM1) and tucatinib work in preventing breast cancer from coming back (relapsing) in patients with high risk, HER2 positive breast cancer. T-DM1 is a monoclonal antibody, called trastuzumab, linked to a chemotherapy drug, called DM1. Trastuzumab is a form of targeted therapy because it attaches to specific molecules (receptors) on the surface of cancer cells, known as HER2 receptors, and delivers DM1 to kill them. Tucatinib may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Giving T-DM1 and tucatinib may work better in preventing breast cancer from relapsing in patients with HER2 positive breast cancer compared to T-DM1 alone. Read Less

This clinical trial is evaluating whether addition of navtemadlin to ruxolitinib treatment will provide more clinical benefit than ruxolitinib alone for patients with Myelofibrosis who have a suboptimal response to ruxolitinib treatment alone. Subjects will start by receiving ruxolitinib alone in the run-in period. Those who demostrate a suboptimal response from ruxolitinib alone will then be randomized 2:1 to receive navtemadlin or navtemadlin placebo as add-on treatment to their ongoing ruxolitinib. Randomized means that subjects will be assigned to a group by chance, like a flip of a coin. The study is blinded, meaning the subjects, doctors, central endpoint assessors and sponsor will not know which add on treatment (navtemadlin or navtemadlin placebo) the subject is receiving. Soldiers operate in environments that are more likely to lead to oral trauma, risking poor dentition which can directly impact military readiness. Dental restoration can often be accomplished via dental implant insertion. Microbiome-associated complications that result in bone loss, including the micro-leakage of bacterial species proliferating in the dental implant internal cavity, frequently lead to implant failure. Reduction in implant bacterial load may result in a shift of the composition of the microbiome in favor of less pathogenic species, potentially improving dental implant success rates, reducing surgical revisions, and associated cost savings. This study aims to determine how disinfectant gel (hydrogen peroxide or chlorhexidine) insertion into dental implant internal cavities affects implant failure rates, bacterial load and microbiome composition. This phase II trial studies how well pembrolizumab and dasatinib, imatinib mesylate, or nilotinib work in treating patients with chronic myeloid leukemia and persistent detection of minimal residual disease, defined as the levels of a gene product called bcr-abl in the blood. Monoclonal antibodies, such as pembrolizumab, may interfere with the ability of cancer cells to grow and spread. Dasatinib, imatinib mesylate, and nilotinib may stop the growth of cancer cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Giving pembrolizumab and dasatinib, imatinib mesylate, or nilotinib may work better in treating patients with chronic myeloid leukemia. Read Less

The purpose of this Phase III study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of tozorakimab Dose 1 and Dose 2 administered subcutaneously (SC) in adult participants with symptomatic COPD and history of ≥ 2 moderate or ≥ 1 severe exacerbation of COPD in the previous 12 months. Pancreatic cancer is difficult to diagnose early. By the time people have been diagnosed, the cancer has usually spread to other parts of the body (metastatic). The standard treatment is chemotherapy, but other treatments are needed to improve outcomes in people with pancreatic cancer. In this study, zolbetuximab will be given together with chemotherapy to people with pancreatic cancer. Zolbetuximab attaches to a protein called CLDN18.2 found at high levels on the surface of the cancer tumor. This switches on the immune system to attack the tumor. Adults 18 years or older with metastatic pancreatic cancer who have not previously had chemotherapy can take part in the study. There are 2 main aims of this study: * To check the safety of zolbetuximab, when given with chemotherapy in people with metastatic pancreatic cancer * To check if people could cope with (tolerate) any medical problems during the study This is an open-label study. This means people in the study and the study doctors will know that people will receive zolbetuximab with chemotherapy. Different small groups will receive lower to higher doses of zolbetuximab with chemotherapy. Zolbetuximab and chemotherapy will be given through a vein. This is called an infusion. People will receive zolbetuximab on the first day they receive chemotherapy. This will happen every 14 days in a 28-day cycle. People will receive zolbetuximab and chemotherapy in the study clinic and at home. Also, doctors will check for any medical problems. People will also have a health check including blood tests. On some visits they will also have scans to check for any changes in their cancer. People will visit the study clinic about 7 days after they stop treatment. They will be asked about any medical problems and will have a health check including blood tests. After this, people will have several more visits to the study clinic for health checks. The number of visits and checks done at each visit will depend on the health of each person and whether they complete their treatment or not. Read Less

The goal of this pilot study is to evaluate the impact of All4Cure enrollment on patients with multiple myeloma. The main question it aims to answer are: • Does All4Cure effect patient activation as assessed by the PAM-13 survey? Participants will be asked to: * fill out quarterly PAM-13 surveys through the All4Cure website to assess patient activation. * fill out monthly Patient Reported Outcome (PRO) surveys through the All4Cure website. * fill out a baseline and exit All4Cure surveys through the All4Cure website to assess patient perceptions of All4Cure at the beginning and the end of the study.
