Clarifying the Optimal Application of SLT Therapy Trial

The goal of this study is to understand if SLT performed at low energy is as effective as SLT performed at standard energy, and also to see if repeating SLT at low energy once a year will prevent or delay the need for daily eye drop medications better than waiting for SLT to wear off before repeating it.

Mono vs. Dual Therapy for Pediatric Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension

The investigators' central hypothesis is that early combination therapy with two PAH-specific oral therapies that have been shown to be well tolerated in the pediatric population, sildenafil and bosentan, will result in better World Health Organization (WHO) functional class at 12 months after initiation of PAH treatment than therapy with sildenafil alone.

Staying Healthy After Childbirth: My Hypertension Education and Reaching Target Program for Postpartum

A study of Staying Healthy After Childbirth (STAC) and My Hypertension Education And Reaching Target (MyHEART) for postpartum (p) patients to determine if health coaching can increase 12-month postpartum care attendance, hypertension control and hypertension self-management behavior compared to usual clinical care in patients with chronic hypertension or persistent pregnancy associated hypertension - postpartum. 140 participants will be enrolled and can expect to be on study for 12 months.

Renal Metabolism in Salt-sensitive Human Blood Pressure

Salt sensitive hypertension is a significant health problem worldwide and a primary modifiable risk factor for renal, cardiovascular, and cerebrovascular diseases. Yet, the underlying mechanisms remain poorly understood.
The proposed study determines how renal oxygenation and substrate metabolism differs between individuals with and without salt sensitivity, with the ultimate goal of identifying mechanisms, diagnostic criteria, and treatment strategies for salt sensitive hypertension.
