This phase II trial studies how well TPIV100 and sargramostim work in treating patients with HER2 positive, stage II-III breast cancer that has residual disease after chemotherapy prior to surgery. It also studies why some HER2 positive breast cancer patients respond better to chemotherapy in combination with trastuzumab and pertuzumab. TPIV100 is a type of vaccine made from HER2 peptide that may help the body build an effective immune response to kill tumor cells that express HER2. Sargramostim increases the number of white blood cells in the body following chemotherapy for certain types of cancer and is used to alert the immune system. It is not yet known if TPIV100 and sargramostim will work better in treating patients with HER2 positive, stage II-III breast cancer. Read Less

This is a proof-of-concept phase 2 clinical trial to investigate the effect of the phytoestrogenic supplement PhytoSERM on vasomotor symptoms and other symptoms associated with the menopausal transition, and on blood-based biomarkers in peri- and postmenopausal women. After the screening period, participants will be randomized to PhytoSERM 50 mg pills (administered orally, once per day) or matching placebo, 1:1 allocation, for a period of 12 weeks. After 12 weeks, all participants in the placebo group will be crossed-over to receive PhytoSERM pills for the remainder of the study (open-label phase). Read Less

The goal of this clinical trial is to test the safety of intralesional injections of triamcinolone self-administered into acne lesions via an injection assistance device. The main question\[s\] it aims to answer are: * is use of the injection assistance device safe? * is delivery of triamcinolone to acne lesions via the injection assistance device efficacious? This clinical trial will investigate the ability of plant exosomes to more effectively deliver curcumin to normal colon tissue and colon tumors. Curcumin is the yellow pigment of turmeric, a natural product with diverse biological activities. Exosomes are small endosome-derived vesicles (50-100 nanometers \[nm\] in size). Previous clinical trials conducted with oral curcumin have demonstrated only limited bioavailability even at very high doses of 8-12 grams per day. This trial plans to address this problem of curcumin delivery by using plant exosomes to deliver the drug to colon tumors and normal colon tissue. Read Less

"R-CITY" refers to the Collaborative Intervention with Teachers and Youth to practice and apply the 4 "Rs" of equity literacy skills in the classroom - Recognizing, Responding, Restoring Relationships, and Resilience. R-CITY is a collaborative teacher- and youth-focused prevention intervention that offers equity literacy lessons to accompany the Second Step social and emotional learning (SEL) curriculum. The lessons are designed to build teachers' and students' "equity stamina" and promote SEL skills to create safe and positive learning environments for all. The R-CITY Project uses a school-level randomized controlled trial (RCT) design to test the integration of the Second Step universal classroom-based evidence-based SEL program that Anne Arundel County Public Schools (AACPS) had been scaling up district wide with the R-CITY equity lessons. The purpose of the RCT is to determine the "value-added" of the SEL + Equity Condition, compared to the SEL curriculum alone (SEL Only) in AACPS elementary and middle schools. The purpose of this study is to help understand how attention processes influence brain engagement during emotion and social cognition. The investigators also want to know if these processes are associated with drinking alcohol. Participation includes three study visits of about 2 hours each over approximately a month. The first visit involves a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scan and answering survey questions. Each of the next two visits will involve a session of transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS, a non-invasive brain stimulation technique) followed by another MRI scan. People in the Auburn/Opelika area 19 or older are eligible to participate. People who drink alcohol and people who do not drink or don't drink very much are invited to participate. Read Less

The goal of this clinical trial is to learn about how parent training can be used to teach a social skills intervention for their young child with developmental delays. Video modeling is a type of technology based intervention that teaches new skills using videos of someone acting out the behavior. The main questions it aims to answer are: * How well do the parent training procedures teach parents all the steps for using video modeling as a social skills intervention? * Do the children with developmental delays play and communicate more with their parents after the parent uses video modeling as a social skills intervention? Parent participants will be asked to participate in 3 interviews 30 min to 1 hour each, 2 in-home sessions 1 ½ to 2 hours each, 30 min Zoom sessions 2-3 times per week for 2-5 months Child participants will participate in 2 in-home sessions 1 ½ to 2 hours each and 30 min Zoom sessions 2-3 times per week for 2-5 months The time commitment is in ideal conditions, but will be impacted by other participants and parent schedules. The family will be committing to approximately 2-5 hours per week for 2-5 months. Sessions may occur as few as 0 or as many as 5 times per week. The hypothesis is that the parent training will teach parents all the steps to use video modeling intervention in their home with their young child with a disability. The second hypothesis is that the child with a disability will learn new social skills to play and communicate better in their home with their parent after watching the video models. Read Less

The Standard Care Coordination (SCC) solution integrates aspects of case management \& care coordination \& was designed by UnitedHealth Group for high-cost, complex, at-risk consumers to facilitate health care access and decisions that can have a dramatic impact on the quality and affordability of the consumer's health care. Currently members only receive the SCC if they are: 1) identified as high risk for readmission upon discharge from the hospital, 2) are self-referred, or 3) are directly referred to the program by their physician. The current quality improvement study was designed as a randomized controlled trial to determine if the expansion of the SCC program to commercially insured members identified via a proprietary administrative algorithms as being at high risk would significantly impact rates of acute inpatient admissions.
