A Phase 1 Study of Y-3 in US Healthy Volunteers.
Recruiting
The goal of this clinical trial is to assess the safety, tolerability, and pharmacokinetic profiles of Y-3 in healthy adult volunteers in the United States. The main questions it aims to answer are: * What the pharmacokinetic profiles of single ascending doses of Y-3 (40 mg and 60 mg) in the US healthy adult volunteers? * If drug Y-3 (40mg and 60 mg) is safe and tolerate in the US healthy adult volunteers. Researchers will compare drug Y-3 (40 mg and 60 mg) to a placebo (a look-alike substance... Read More

A Study to Evaluate the Efficacy and Safety of Once-Weekly MET097 in Adults With Obesity or Overweight and T2DM
Recruiting
This study is designed to test how well once-weekly MET097 (an ultra-long-acting GLP-1 receptor agonist) works to treat adults with obesity or overweight and type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) compared to placebo. MET097 or placebo will be administered to individuals via subcutaneous injection once weekly for 28 weeks. If an individual is randomly assigned to MET097 they will receive one of four different dose regimens.

Ovarian-Sparing Adaptive Radiotherapy in Young Adult Women
Recruiting
Female patients with early onset (\<50 years old) pelvic malignancies such as uterine and rectal cancers are rising in incidence, which often requires pelvic radiation; many of these patients are premenopausal and at a high risk of premature ovarian failure from radiotherapy. Premature ovarian failure carries significant cardiac, musculoskeletal, sexual, and psychosocial morbidity. Ovarian transposition carries variable success rates, is not readily accessible to the general population, and can... Read More

Clinical Outcomes of Bilateral Clareon Vivity in Post-Refractive Patients
Recruiting
Millions of people have undergone laser vision correction surgery and are motivated to continue with spectacle independence as they develop presbyopia (gradual loss of your eyes' ability to focus on nearby objects)and cataract. However, having a history of refractive surgery, poses challenges in the selection of the IOLs and can lead to visual outcomes that are unpredictable. Data from an international registry and single prospective study show that Vivity IOL provided effective distance, interm... Read More

OTAGO Exercise Program and Motivational Interviewing
Recruiting
The goal of this study is to see if OTAGO instructors, who have been trained in a special communication method called motivational interviewing, can help older adults start and stick with the OTAGO exercise program. The results will help guide future research on how behavior change techniques can support other fall prevention strategies.
